Hello, my pet Walrus Matt has recently been taking Tramadol for recreational purposes. Although most people find no value, Matt is actually affected very strongly by it, very similar to when he has taken Hydrocodone. This time however, Matt might have gone a little bit overboard. Matt also does not need to hear that "he is an idiot", or any other derogatory term, as he knows he fucked up this time, and what the potential dangers are.

In the past Matt has taken between 100mg-150mg crushed up in a bit of liquid every 45 minutes until he reached a total of 300mg-350mg. Last night, at around 7 o'clock, he took a total of 400mg over three periods of 45 minutes. He was feeling very good and euphoric, and shortly after went to bed. He woke up around 9:00 this morning with a bad headache, which he assumed was possibly withdrawal symptoms. Starting at 10:00am, Matt went overboard. At 45 minute intervals, he started with 100mg, then went to 150mg to 150, to 3 separate doses of 100 mg, totaling up at 700mg that day, and 1100mg over the past 24 hours. Yes, my Walrus understands he defiantly shouldn't have done it, but at the time he wasn't thinking and felt amazing.

Starting at about 4:30 PM, Matts pupils became pin-point, he got very light headed, his eyes kept crossing and he couldn't focus on things (blurred vision), felt extremely tired. He started to think he was overdosing, and became scared to go to sleep in fear of not waking up due to respiratory depression. He was however completely aware of everything, although very irritable, and did not feel limp or slur his words. Anyways, he still feels the majority of these effects, although not as bad, but is still concerned. If this was a Tramadol Overdose, could it still be taking place? And if so, can it reverse itself without having to seek medical attention? Matt is not that experienced opiates, synthetic or actual. Could this possibly be symptoms of withdrawal? Matt read some articles about how other walruses have fatally overdosed at far few amounts. He has also never had a seizure due to it. Matt would appreciate a quick, helpful reply!

Please read the guidelines and bluelight user agreement before posting again. If you feel that you are in a situation where an overdose on TRAMADOL is occurring, which carries MANY lethal risks when taken recreationally, especially how you're taking 1100mg in less than 24 hours, when the seizure threshold for 24 hours maxes out at 400mg of tramadol (spread out over the day) before you're at risk of having potentially lethal seizures and other toxicity concerns. Bluelight is NOT an emergency service, please seek immediate medical attention if someone is overdosing, don't waste precious time by posting about it online, we aren't doctors and we don't have your medical records freely available nor do we know how your HR practice is, which judging on how much tramadol you're taking, I can't imagine is very HR whatsoever....

Call 911 if you are overdosing, I hope things will be okay, but BL isn't an Emergency Service.
