I was hiking by my house and discovered many plants that look alarmingly like cannabis. I don't want to alert the authorities if it is a false alarm or unusable, but I think it is ditch weed. I pinched a leaf off and it was red inside, like read juice? It looks like it, 5, and 7 pointed leaves etc. Feels kinda rough on the bottoms of the leaves and the main stalk has little tiny ( white bumps or hair? ) on it.

Am wondering if I should call the cops, if it even weed.

Well I guess will have to agree to disagree.

I think that people should grow marijuana all over the country and that it should be legal. There has never been a single overdose from marijuana and despite what you've been told it's not physically addicting. I would let the plants be and forget you saw them , if it is someones crop and you call the cops your gonna have some pissed off farmers on your hands.

I personally think you should mind your own business
 
The harm that the person may do to themselves by growing and smoking is much lower that the harm of being arrested. The right thing to do here is to leave it alone.

Do your thing, dude. If you feel it's the best thing for you to do then go ahead and alert the authorities. Personally, I'd leave well enough alone and maybe come back in a few weeks and pinch a couple choice buds for myself.

If you think it's a grow-op, though, best to just leave it be. People can get pretty crazy when it comes to protecting their crop.

We all have our own opinions, especially about something as controversial as the consumption of deadly narcotics. I just would not be able to sleep knowing that their was blood on my hands, if someone was hurt using or trying to sell drugs. It is a dangerous lifestyle, fraught with violence, murder and mental illness. I appreciate your thoughts, and have decided to wait and see if it is really cannabis, before I inform the relevant authorities.

I know I used to imbibe illegal substances but I have moved on. I am not embarrassed to admit I made mistakes. I have cleaned up my act and act only in accordance with the law. I realized how much harm and damage my drug use was having on me, my loved ones and those whom I thought were my friends.
 
^^ oh it is. Tar and well umm co2 and uh idk what else. But it is one own fault if they choose to do it or not. U wanna rat someone out go ahead and be a jerk. If you are totally against it then thats understandable. But talk to the owners of the area first JUST to make shure it is or isnt and if it is then ask them to get rid of it, or you'll call the cops. If they dont do that THEN call the cops.
 
If this is serious and not a troll (which I doubt) I still think you should just leave it be. What good would come of reporting it?

deadly narcotic?? hurt??? i've never seen anybody get hurt from weed. and i'm sorry to hear about your past mistakes, but i think you got some crappy drugs if they made you want to think that kind of bullshit.
 
One of the rules i live my life by is live and let live I have a hard time seeing how this persons crop is hurting you at all. Don't start anything there won't be anything leave it alone man its got nothing to do with you. What you want a medal for being rat. Leave it alone and find somwhere else to hike.

but if it is you are a fag for calling the cops.
that weed isn't going to ruin anyone's life more than they will ruin it on their own. And most likely someone else is going to get fucked for losing their entire crop, who knows, someone might even get killed over it. leave it alone.
