Pornography addiction

Okay, this is the last time I am going to say this. If you are not talking to a mental health professional, you need to be. It sounds like you're going through a transformative period in your life and you're having a hard time navigating it. There are resources out there for you, you have to reach out.

As far as the alternate personality. curing your autism bc you took an over the counter high, and being admitted to a psych ward... All of these things scream to me that you need consistent, stable, and coordinated mental health care. For me, that would mean seeing a therapist, talking to my doctor, and getting in to see a psychologist. I would open my records to all of them so that they could coordinate your care and help you to the best of your ability. Additionally. if it were me, I would find something to do because having a bunch of spare time isn't usually healthy. There are a ton of jobs out there right now. Pick one up and maybe you'll meet a co-worker that you can be friends with, Again, if it were me, I would be doing more than using an app and maybe hitting the gym. Make the gym your life if you want to...
This is extremely good advice.

I would like to restate two aspects because I view them as crucial.

First, definately make the jump to get a good treatment plan with a therapist/psychiatrist. This could require a little bit of trial and error, but is honestly so beneficial in the long run.

Second, it is near impossible to just give an addiction up. It will always produce a void in your life as addictions inherently serve as maladaptive coping mechanisms. It would behoove you to become engaged in a healthy activity (such as the gym, but definately not limited to that), as then you would be able to fill the time/coping mechanism void from not watching as much porn.

When I was admitted to the psych ward they came to me once every week to give me 2 pills instead of one (they usually ask me to go to the nurse to receive my meds) and they claimed it was 5mg and 10 mg as they had run out of the 15 mg.
But it was only on these occasions I felt like a women after taking them and then not too long after it gave me a really deep voice. I do believe they drugged me without my knowledge as 1) You would have to believe that they mysteriously ran out of meds once a week but happened to have them every day before, between and after. 2) They temporarily changed what gender I felt like.

I still feel attracted to men somewhat but don't feel like a women anymore.
This happens all the time in hospitals, as you can only imagine the high volume of pills they go through each week. It is a legal requirement that they explicitly tell you what meds they are giving you, so it is extremely unlikely that they drugged you.

I 100% agree with this.

@LilyRose it seems like you've potentially got a few things going on, not just the porn addiction, that could benefit from talk therapy with a psychologist, and maybe even trialling some medication again, which you will need to see a psychiatrist for. When was the last time you spoke with your doctor about all of this? Addictions in general are a SYMPTOM of underlying psychiatric or emotional illness, so in order to address the addiction, you need to delve deeper and address the root problems as well as "getting clean" of the addiction.

Hello I am just wondering what medications would be most useful for helping treat my addiction to porn.
Perhaps Wellbutrin. It's used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and nicotine cessation, after all. Actually maybe not. It's a cathinone stimulant drug, technically. Ok but so yes Naltrexone is used successfully.
I have heard Naltrexone and N acetyl-l-cyysteine are useful but I am not sure if this is true.
I guess you'd want an anaphrodisiac. Certain birth control medications, like Depo-Provera, also act to block testosterone in males. That's a possibility. You won't be doing yourself any favors for going back to the gym though, that's for sure.
This addiction is ruining my life and has been going on for about 8 years now.
So if you're 22, this has been going on since you were about 14 years old, which fits the timeline vis-à-vis puberty. I mean, from 14 to 22, I was one horny motherfucker, that's for sure. But still. There's that, and then there's Michael Fassbender's character from the 2011 film, Shame. Not sure where you fit on this continuum but tread carefully. You're messing with hormones and shit and it can have dire and unintended consequences and mood disturbances. Think about this carefully.
Also I am not sure what SSRI/SNRI would be most useful for the addiction.
Yep, that's what specialists are for. You're not required to figure this out for yourself, you know. See a doctor and get proper medical advice, like others have suggested. They're experienced and they spent a lot of money going to school for this kind of knowledge. Reap its benefits while they systematically rob your insurance provider…
They presumably work by blocking the feelings of pleasure-
Naltrexone works by blocking the “reward center” in the brain, but generally, no, antidepressants affect the regulation of serotonin and adrenaline in the brain at selective sites by exploiting an electromagnetic chemical property known as enantiomeric shielding, usually via something like a negatively charged oxygen atom bridge between two distinct moieties that leads to stereoselectivity in the synapses. Pharmacologically this results in feelings of even temperament and a reasonable approach and attitude toward previously compulsive behavior patterns. For you, this would hopefully include a reasonableness toward sex, porn, and time allocation for either.
but what SSRI has the best pharmacological profile/ has best anti-addiction properties is beyond me.
It's different from case-to-case as they're all slightly-to-moderately different from one another, as is each patient. It's more complex than simply, Which is best?
(There are so many ssri's/snri's to chose from, citalopram, sertraline, venlafaxine, duloxetine, ext..)
Again: not your job. Let the doctor write the prescription. Although you should read up anyway.
I am a male (22 years old) and have just had a first episode of psychosis and also i am not sure if an ssri would send me psychotic again or not.
Probably not, but what did it the first time?

I second this, @LilyRose. It's really, really unlikely. There'd be nothing to gain from doing this anyway. Moreover, it's probably wise to curtail random accusations like this that hint at “delusions of persecution.” Expressing theories about conspiracies and medical staff colluding against you, etc., well that's just classic psychobabble and will only keep you hemmed up longer in one of those situations. Relax. Virtually everyone in the medical field is on the same team – Team Human. You're on it, too, as is anyone on this mortal coil. And finally from a more practical angle, were I you, I would've memorized what the pills looked like and what was inscribed on them if possible. If you had the data now, you could use a pill identifier website to ID what you took and confirm what they're saying as true.
