I don't have it. YET! But I need some advice. I done searches and come up with tons of threads but none of them specifically answer my question. In fact it is the only thing they DON'T mention when talking about their usage... How LONG they were using before they became addicted.
I have been using poppy pods for about 4 months now. When I have them I order 1 kilo. Whilst it lasts I will drink it every day, drinking the tea and eating the pods AND seeds. I also use a LOT of things to potentiate it. To be fair, I don't think these are the strongest pods I am using. But they are a reasonable price (which is against the rules to discuss) so I feel I get my money's worth but I add Calcium carbonate, grapefruit juice, lemon juice and swallow a Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to make it stronger. I have built a tolerance and don't nod anymore really. But anyway, my point is that I use quite a lot everyday when I have it.
Then I run out, which is fine, and I take 2-4 weeks off then I do it again. For arguments sake and to make the maths easier lets say I do 20 days on and 20 days off. I have never felt any ill effects while I am off,
With Christmas coming up and me having nothing good to do except see family and do boring shit I was considering just ordering batch another so I can carry on over the festive period and just mong out. So that would mean like, every day for 6 weeks. What if I get a big batch or I make them last but still do a lot. It could be 8 weeks... For all the threads I have read I can't find anyone who refers to any length of time they were taking them. They just say how bad they feel but reading it they could have been on PPs for 10 days or 10 years or anywhere in between.
So. I already have the "Don't buy any for over Christmas" advice locked and loaded and ready to fire at myself, and to be fair I will most likely follow it. I have had too many addictions and mess ups in my life to want to have another, bnut even if I do just do that, and take a HUGE break, I would still like to know how long people think it generally takes to get a habit that will bring on some painful WD's. Also, when I have them I will pretty ALWAYS drink everyday. I have the will power not to order stuff, that is fine, but if something is there I have NO will power not to take it.
So, please people, enlighten with your bluelights the shadowy recesses of my confusion so I can avoid becoming another slave!
