polyvinyl alcohol

I just bought some diphenhydramine pills that have polyvinyl alcohol as one of the inactive ingredients. I know alcohol, and Subutex don't go together, but would it effect my Subutex in anyway? Is it like actual alcohol at all?

I'm sure you mean *inactive ingredient. And no it won't effect you. It's added to some medications to increase the viscosity, as a coating, or other various reasons.
