My English is very bad, so please excuse my errors!

Two days ago the Police seized the Server,
of the biggest Drug-Information Board.

Think about it!

Yesterday the Drogen-Forum,
Tommorrow the Bluelight!

It was very similar to the Bluelight!
A little bit smaller, only 8.000 User,
but same!

It is clear that the operators of drogen- forum.com already had problems in former Times with the Goverment, but now first times conclusion is. The informally extensive Domain, which apart from drug consultation,

and which employs over 1000 the user in such a way, is down and seizes the servers.
Also the all Mails internal thereby for the police to read are,
lines up for Schaeuble&CO into the want-coming list of the coming repression laws.
An alternative too .drogen- forum.com surely is in planning.

Inside the Drogen- Forum was also really nothing illegal,
No Dealing, no Synthese and no extraction!

Sorry to the Mods, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland it is a Political Matter!

Do not worry about your English, I am like you. As long as we can both get our points across we have a place here.

Anyway, it is no suprise. Was not aware of the site, when I read the blurb I thought it must have been CEDRO but that is govt. affiliated, is it not? Anyway...In the US more than a couple of sites have come up against the same thing. 2 illicit chem sites I was heavily involved with fell from that same rationale, and even spurned a bunch of arrests when one of them was then reiniated as a reverse DEA sting.

BL is not Served in Russia, after being Served elsewhere in Europe. America is anal retentive about freedom of expression (should capitalise the phrase but am lazy, sue me).
 
As a user of that board I find it is frightening. No one knows how the German Government plan to handle all the information that came with the seizure of the board.

This is something that came totally out of the blue for me, and I am shocked as to how quickly the German law makes it possible to violently remove a board that saved lives. If only Orwell could still live and witness the transformation of the Internet as we know it. :/
 
There are new Infos from Rob aka LSD.
It sounds like some People use the Intern Mails
to make a big Poo.

The Server is now @ the Police-Station for further Investigation.
This means all data will be seen by People we dont like!

BL is a discussion board, there is nothing illegal taking place on these forums.
 
It sounds like exactly what happened on Overgrow:

The server admin gets caught with something illegal, then the police offer a little chunk of time off for cooperation and handing over all computer equipment.
 
the admin is not suspected to have done anything illegal, as far as i know. idiots, using a forum about drugs to sell/buy stuff, i dont understand how one could be so stupid...
 
one could have expected this. this forum was much more of a social melting pot than bl because of its local limits. it was the only german speaking forum that wasnt specialized on particular topics like xtc, psychedelics, opioids or cannabis which, in conjunction with its size, made it extraordinary.

It was exactly the same like here, but the Police seized the server
to get more information about specific People.
(Who was using the Mail- to make stupid Things)
Now they have Information about more than 8.000 User.

This story needs more info to make any conclusions. Arrested for what?

Arrrgh, First we think it was an act because of Repression (Bundestroyaner, Internet-Surveilance)
but now we know it was just a "normal Action"!

No, i have been there, they are more strict, although you can find a headhop or two in major cities (munich ftw)
 
germany doesn't have nearly the same freedom of expression rights that the US guarantees.

Maybe it is the secret police maybe he got a DUI maybe he got in a fight at the nightclub do you know?
I just seems wasteful to discuss a conspiracy when you have absolutely no details. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was a conspiracy there is just no info to discuss.

I travel around Europe once and everyone in the surrounding countries told me not to take any drugs to Germany. It gave me the impression they had stricter drug laws then the rest of Europe.
 
I wouldn't host a site of this sort within Germany's boundaries. Irrespective of whether anything illegal happens on it - or is alleged to happen on it, etc. - it's just too easy for LE to swoop in, grab now, and ask questions later. . .

Not to mention, if someone's running a site without HD encryption and/or several encrypted virtualization layers. . . well, there's sorta no excuse is there? It's much less tempting for LE to go on a fishing expedition within the server's archives if the machine turns into brickware once unplugged.

There's enough inexpensive and effective technology out there to secure a site such as this that it need not be vulnerable in this way. Doing everything possible to prevent stupid/illegal stuff from happening is priority #1 of course, but that's not reason to ignore other security procedures.

Perhaps a seizure of this sort is enough to be a "wake up call" for those who have not put enough time and effort into their own security standards. Doing good security is, unfortunately, not very "sexy" and it can be pretty hard work (more so than running plaintext, for example, in the case of hardware-level HD failure), but it's worth doing right for the peace of mind.
