Um, I was thinking about life a little too much this weekend...anyways, took the advice of a friend and wrote a poem to clear my head...It's called "infinitum" and it describes what some of my musings on life are right now. It's a bit dense, but hopefully if you read it slowly, and adapt it to your own life's experiences, it'll make some sense. I hope you enjoy it

reading others ain't the problem
problem lies in reading me
brace deeper deeper into mind of octopus
conclusions all contradictory
fractal thoughts fold on each other
revealing cruel deliberate purpose
nuggets mined from depths below
indistinguishable from those on surface
surely, history stops repeating
society reflects ill of man
man reflects well of heisenberg
stop this nonsense if you can
greatest men still live human
rocks are germs are wasps are man
each atom itself my universe
composing foiled eternal plan
lame most abled, genius child
dumb act smart, wise pretend
evil comes in godly skins
instant arrival, start at the end
creativity breeds more boredom
conjure facts to explain dark past
stimulation--such discomfort
stable home--leave there fast
prejudicial common sense
food sleep air lead to our fall
people search hope fabricate
happiness eludes them all
doubt hates violence (life)
ebb and flow and up and down
hope loves peace (life)
limbo state with music noun
psychology math identical twins
mind is body spirit heart
ruminate and think some more
meander back to hateful start
sinful snakes devour own tails
naive youngsters murder naive old
revolution's brimming always
countless soothsayers have foretold
god man devil hand in hand
grants us hope and shifts it gone
self and others collaborating
competition stems from indecisive pawn
pretend past shackling the present
watch their living exhume our dead
stranger's future so seemingly certain
happens tangentially instead
no black and white: strange facades
only gray clouds in violent hole
being certain leads to not knowing
yet conviction drives every goal
getting life gets you nowhere
damn! living it just makes it worse
everyman doublechecks strong destiny
stubborn world redirects weak course
positive energy saves grimmer times
expect hardships to set us free
to learn to forget and forget to learn
pathetic circularity
introspection leaves you clueless
companions can barely keep you sane
is it I or the world that's crazy
