Plumbing Course... am I too old?

I am 24 and am going to be starting a Plumbing course in April

Level 2 = 6months
level 3. with employer = 6months/ maybe a year

So until im fully qualified it could be a while yet, am I too old to start or is this not that rare?

Its just Ive had a major drug problem since I left school which I have finally gave up but due to my drug problems I have no qualifications I have just worked in crappy lame ass jobs.

hell no !!!!there were people in the new jersey apprenticeship program in their 40's when i was going to school
and in nj it was 4 years apprenticeship, 1 year journeyman, then if you passed the exam you became a master plumber,

sadly i got laid off right before becoming a journeyman, dickhead boss!!! and now there are no plumbing jobs, in the area fuck

but i am like a prodigy when it comes to heating systems, and boilers

as everyone else has said no you are not too old to do it, I did a sparky course and there was a 50 some thing year old on my course
