yes, one of these comes as a complete slap in the face. I would have competed for the spot, though I'm sure im not as qualified as some. It would have been nice to see somebody who spends more time in the forum adding meaningful comments.

Are making snide comments such as this necessary?

if you have a problem with who was selected as moderator, then take it up with someone else. that kind of crap isn't necessary in this thread.

I suggest you PM someone instead.

lol, thanks for the welcoming guys. i have no idea if the drama is centered around me (i don't think so, but i'm kinda egotistical, so i can't quite shake the feeling ;)), but er...cool :)

hopefully if anyone has any doubts about my abilities i can change their minds in the coming weeks and months with my insighful comments. that, or i can send my henchman round to give them a sharp beating.

all comments should be taken with a hefty dosing of salt :)

i am generally a fan of open nominations. however, on this occasion the bluelight adminstration - not the forum moderators - made the decision.
