Please look,Need serious advice in TX

HI everyone ive browsed for years and finally made an account and i need some serious advice from anyone in dallas area. I have lived in S. florida all my life 2 months ago my wife took my kids and went to texas. in 4 days i will be flying up there and will have about 200$ left over. does anyone know where i can get a cheap place to stay or food? i have never left florida and will be completly on my own, thanks in advance for any help/tips on living in dallas area

yes i am doing that but i was also hoping for some tips, i am from a small town in florida and have never even seen a big city, i have no idea what to exspect

Stay out of South Dallas then if you are from a small town and never been to a big city.the suburbs in Tarrant County(ft.worth is in tarrant county) ny the airport are safe to stay but are a bit pricey...Be advised in the city of Dallas at Sonic Resturants,even in pretty good hood's people will come up to your car and try to sell you crack..It's happened to me like 10 times,and that was in Northeastern city of Dallas,so just be careful and avoid south dallas,especially at night or really anytime unless you know the area..If you go through south dallas stay on the main highways,freeways,etc...Mesquite would be a good place to stay at first I think...It's east of Dallas , get a map and learn the area and ask someone local where a good place to stay is for cheap,they are friendly in Dallas,most people so ask them for advice,,they would love to help you out actually, most peeple are nice there as i said.Good Luck
