I was just talking with some of my pothead buddies about what they like to do with their weed when they first buy it (besides smoking it). Most said they prefer NOT to break it up or take it out of the bag, with one even saying he doesn't break it up even when he smokes it for fear of "knocking off the good stuff" lol.

Me, on the other hand, I like to take the weed out of its baggie, break it up all at once, examine it, smell it, and put it in a jar for further curing/mold prevention. Something about weed in nug form that makes me want to tear it apart!

What do you guys do with a fresh sack of herb? Do you break it all up at once, or leave it as it is (or is it so shitty that it requires no breaking up?)
 
I take the biggest bud of the bag, store it away for when I need it, I then take the rest of the weed out of the bag, and do a VERY precise picking of the leafs and stems, i store the stems away for when I want tea, I smoke all the leaves via vaporizer as my first low tolerance sesh, I bag up all those perfect buds and decide how much I wanna smoke that night.
 
I smoke everything including the stems as my stuff is usually good enough to get me high when smoking them :) I'm interested in this tea The Winner, is it psychoactive?
 
Yes, you what I always do is collect them, put in tea bags, make tea with boiling water, add milk, maybe mix with camomile tea, very nice. I think smoking stems on their own is worse for you than smoking bud, i think maybe it make you impotent. (your weiner)
 
I don't really do shit but weigh it up and bag up different amounts and shit. A guy I used to know used to grab a big bud out of a fresh bag and stick it on his top lip as he would sort of pucker his lip to push the bud up to his nose while taking a big sniff. That has to be the funniest thing I have known/seen anyone to do with their bud. The guy was a full tripper from NZ, chill cunt to smoke with though.
 
with high grade bud, i usually dont even like to touch it. ill have my grinder or one of my friends break it up.. it feels like im insulting the bud when i touch it lol, i love to smell it and just stare at it in amazement... wow im a stoner..


with reggie/schwag/mid-grade i just break all of it up in my grinder, pick the seeds out and put it back in the bag for when i can just dip my hand in there and grab the bud =D.


and im curious about this tea your talking about winner, could you elaborate on it more?

Sounds ace mate (apart from the impotent bit, I hope you're wrong haha). Have you ever tried making pot-tea from the leaves and bud? It may be more acceptable to do this around my parents if it works %)

What's the high like on weed-stem-tea?

It would work, the most important part of the tea is the high fat milk. That's what the THC dissolves into and then is absorbed by your body. So make sure you use enough milk you can use a thing called "heavy cream" that is very good for absorbing THC. And make sure it steeps hot for long enough to absorb.
 
I Just put the bag in my pocket until I get home, then i'll empty it out into the old tin. Have a little feel to see if it needs any drying. Then either smoke it, or dry it then smoke it.

I Don't really have access to the SUPACHRONICHIGRADEZ!! But the shit I can get is usually alright enough, granted i've smoked some terrible weed before but every now and then get some rare treat chronic hah. I'm happy smoking this till growing is feasible for me. :)
 
well... when i get weed i normally look at it before i buy it, so there's no need to do any of this inspection stuff a lot of you are talking about... :\


so i buy the weed, pocket it until i get home or wherever else i might be going, break it down and smoke it. it's a really simple process.
 
I take a nice peak, smell it, and pocket that shit. If it's bomb dro, I'll break it up by hand. If it is mids or beasters, into the grinder it goes.
 
Hmm, don't you guys pick apart the stems and shit before you put the PURE bud inside the grinder so there wont be bits of stems?

I smoke the stems as long as they're not freakin tree trunks. When I used to smoke I'd just leave it as I bought it. I liked keeping the nugs whole, because when analyzing weed I tend to drool over the crystals, and they're much more apparent on a whole bud. Then when it came time to smoke it i'd grind it (weed in a grinder smells sooo much better!) just because it burned easier.

Now that I don't smoke I fondle and smell my friends' weed while they light up. It sucks, but my day will come again.
 
damn weed in a grinder does smell great, especially if its one of those buds that smell better when broken apart
 
After receiving bag (here is an approximate walkthrough):
*Unwrap
*Quick look over the buds
*Open, smell.. usually a few times to get the obvious fragrances, then deeper for the undertones.
* Inspect the buds, color variation, trichomes, hair amoun/color.
* Talk about how amazing it is and how the guy never lets me down (sounds humorous, but he is the man)
*Go home/friends house, smoke up.

I look at it, smell it, then smoke a joint. I'll usually be chopping it up when smoking my first joint. I quite enjoy cutting it up. I just cut up any stems there may be and throw it in along with the rest.

If I'm smoking outside though, then it's not convenient to chop it.

When it is headies, the stem looks pretty crystal so I just include them unless they are huge.

With mids, I do my best, but hell, half of the bag is stems or seeds in mids.
 
Well, we don't have headies, mids and such where I live...we just have weed - you don't really have much of a choice.

Of course, but I refuse to smoke stems whatsoever, my friends told me once when I was a novice to not smoke stems because itll make my dick impotent, dunno if they were messin around but I took it seriously.
