Planning on taking MDMA, which meds should I stop taking?

Hello all.

In august I'm planning on taking MDMA at a festival but I'm on a plethora of medications. The meds I'm on are as follows:

1. Oxycodone 120mg/d
2. Pregabalin 200mg/d
3. Mirtazapine 45mg/d
4. Olanzapine 10mg/d
5. Sertraline 100mg/d
6. Scopolamine 600mcg/d

Which ones should I temporarily stop taking and when should I stop taking them? Cheers guys!

I'm particularly concerned with the Sertraline, are you sure it's okay using SSRIs on top of MDMA?

The best way to experience MDMA is without any other medications in your system. I wouldn't even risk it.

i'd think olanzapine would dull the roll, completely stop it from working, or give you a headache or something.i can't find any info while searching and don't really care to look too hard... i might listen to crazyhairman...

i don't think E is really worth getting off all your meds to take if you need them, but do your thing.

this is the first result on google and i'm pretty sure there is increased death rate with olanzapine in E. i'm not good at reading https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-85389-x do some searching if no one responds to this... i just know olanzapine kills pyschedelics

i have no idea what some of those other drugs are too, so maybe not listen to crazyhairman like i said in case you need some of them physically or something.... if you don't get the response you are looking for just do some search engine use and search "mdma" with each specific drug. if it's dangerous stuff should come up.. although the internet isn't a perfect source of info.

MDMA will either be completely useless or super dangerous while taking any SSRI, which sertraline is.

As well, you really shouldn't just stop taking any mental health meds in the interest of rolling. I guarantee you, whatever potential fun you might have is not worth the very real risk of whatever mental health condition you have getting far worse.

Most of these substances have a bad effect when taken with MDMA. Absolutely do not advise.

that is possible but unlikely. What is likely is huge cross tolerance that renders SSRI users unable to roll

The with sertraline and SSRIs in general is they down regulate your receptors so even after it's out of your system it can continue blocking the effects of MDMA and any other 5HT agonist for weeks after. You're probably looking at needing to stop the sertraline for at least a month for a decent roll. Probably not worth it tbh.

I waited 4 months after stopping zoloft and couldn't roll, but at the time was binging on methamp - could the meth have been the issue?

I wasnt on a meth binge when i took it, but it was probably 1-3 weeks since my last binge and I had been doing it 5 years at that point

Also I used Effexor for years decades ago and wonder if that is the culprit. I had a super response that lasted about a year and only get slight response to any ssri since then.
