Hi all you bluelighters
I don't want to be boring and a pain in the neck but I'm afraid I'm going to be this time. I love reading bluelight and try to read as many posts as possible, ideally I would like to read them all. But lately there have been sooooo many posts that within a few hours new topics are pushed to a second page.
This is a board for discussions on drugs and other related topics. As much as a few of you are interested in people's favourite pizza toppings and your pets, this doesn't develop interesting conversations, and all it does is push on topic posts to the next page far too quickly.
Can we please refrain from these type of posts and keep them slightly more on topic?
It would also be helpful if you checked the previous pages and FAQ for any answers to your questions before posting repetitive questions.

I agree wholeheartedly. Although I liked the thread that had all the pizza toppings that peoples pets liked. Fuck all though more drugs drugs drugs drugs

Sometimes between rolls, trips, and holes people like to joke around and be a little silly. Nothing wrong with that right? -Mr. Sticky, once again you're my hero and a barrel full of laughs, or at least a bowl, maybe a cup......

The thing about the main "bluelight discussion" board is that it dosen't have to be just about rolling.. ya know.. it can be there just for other bluelighters to talk to each other about whatever.. there are other forums for things (party/meetup forum, music forum, pill report forum) which i personally think should be kept nice and organized.. but this is just a general discussion area.. and should be open to good old chatter amongst bluelighters..

One of the things I like most is about this bored (is that a Freudian slip) is that I feel like I actually get to KNOW you guys somewhat through your posts...I actually enjoy these little slices of insight into people's personalities...it makes everyone seem more real.
I kind of look at Bluelight as a discussion list of people who like to use drugs and especially E... not just the drugs. I love reading about how tore up we all get on a given weekend as much or more than anyone, but I would hope that we're more than just the drugs we do, if we are, that's pretty sad. Most of my friends are party kids...but we hang out when we're not fucked up too. They're my friends because of who they are as a whole....
I know it gets frustrating to have new topics pushed down so fast, but if it's a choice between losing the sense of community on the board or having to look a little bit to find what you wanna read about I'll take the latter.
That said...people, please use common sense when posting new topics...I really don't care to read 'Pepsi vs. Coke' or 'What Should I get my Ferret for his Birthday?'. And post specific questions-'Who's going to Buttplug '99 in Walla Walla' or 'Are Yellow Kryptonites better pills than Tutti Frutti Cornflakes?' in the right forums....
My $.02. I love all you guys! (If this post sounds a little harsh I'm verrrrry sorry...I just love the board and feel really passionately about it.)

I'm with you Apples, WTF is everyone crapping on about. A bit of frivolity keeps us sane but some have strayed a litte too far.

I tend to agree about the sandwiches and pizza toppings, but, I just love animals and I found the pet post quite interesting. I like to know what type of pets people have because I think it gives you a bit of an insight into their personalities. But, yeah, the rest of the stuff is pretty useless.

I personally think it's a nice way to get to know people who do have the same interests. There is nothing wrong with people asking anything they want on this board. As Lee said it's a way to get an insight on peoples personalities. You can learn alot about a person by what topping they get on their pizza or what pet they have

But what's worse is reading posts where people are bithcing and complaining about another post(no offense miss apple, I have nothing against you)Remember people PLUR, Peace, Love, Unity and RESPECT.
 
I dont understand what the hell is wrong with some of you. This is the discussion forum- not the drug discussion forum - i mean i hope that we have better things going for us than just drugs. e is great but i also have a wonderful life and sometimes life sucks and i like to share it all with people. this is how we get to know the different bluelighters by discussing! so as far as most of us go - talk about whatever the fuck you wanna talk about! if you only care about drugs go to the pill reports page or only read the threads about drugs or the many drug sites all over the net. sorry miss apple i like ya- but i cant agree on this!!!!!!!!!!

i'm just sick of the narc posts and the billions of "5htp?"s and "DXM info"s. there are 5 new ones everyday! as for the pizza/sandwich posts, well, i thought the pizza one was kind of cute. it reminded me of someone i used to know. useless, but sometimes it's fun to be silly.

I for one like the silly threads! It's interesting to see what else people have to say besides discussing drugs all the time. I realize that the board is primarily to exchange E info, but is that really all we care about? I don't hink so.
 
Yeah, i agree with you miss apple. Here's a couple guidelines that could make everything run smoother.
First, please use the search engine and look up previous threads if you have a specific question you have to ask.
Second, dig up a previous thread and add to it before starting a new one.
Third, post in the appropriate forum
Fourth, use email if it's easier
Fifth, it's great to joke around and it gives this place the color that is so much like my personal e experiences, i'm sure for others as well, but try to realize that some people put some very decent effort into writing serious posts, and if those people leave out of frustration, the board is going to be at a huge loss.
Sixth, if you make multiple posts by accident, clean up your mess and have them deleted. It only takes a minute.
Lastly, if you're new, lurk and wait a couple weeks before posting. It would be nice if people put more time into writing posts than it takes to read them. My $.02
 
Because Pizzaguy's a friend of mine, and also because I posted the topic about the pets, I feel that this is a personal attack!

Yet my point is that we all need an escape from this lifestyle. My pets offer that escape by being lives that depend on me to continue living. If I'm not around, they die. Therefore it is the greatest motivation for me to continue living no matter how fucked up my life may seem because if I don't then others suffer. Because drugs are the reason for my need for stability on this earth, I feel that my pets relate directly to my drug life. I'm sure that others may share my opinions while others don't, but don't try to be the judge of what gets posted or not please

I agree with cagirl. I ?hope? most of us have other interesting things going on in our lives other than drugs. No harm done in talking about each other's personal interests a bit. This is a discussion forum not a Drug 101 class. Miss.Apple this is not a personal attack either, just a little break from the monotany of DXM questions and teenage od's.

I love reading the serious posts and they aren't given the time and board space they deserve sometimes. This is really what I was getting at.
Also, please take the time to delete your triple and quadruple posts. It's really quick to do!
Thanks guys for your input. I know you hate bitching but I'm just making suggestions to make reading the board easier for all of us.
