I was wondering if anyone on here could give me the 411 on piracetam?
Like the dose, how long till it kicks in (I have powder and I put it in caps) half life, do you build a tolerance?
Is it an anxiolytic and if so how would it compare to a benzodiazepine?
All those kind of things.

If you take it with Choline, it will greatly increase the effects. When I first started taking it, I took 400mg and got minimal effects. Added Choline and 400 was my daily dose for a while. Definite effects. People usually take more.

It's a mental upper. Too much gives you neck tension and headaches as opposed to overstimulating you. It affected my sleep and I had to take Melatonin to sleep, but I'm sensitive to sleep issues.
 
I can't really remember dosage and duration or anything like that, but I have used it in the past.

It can be helpful for anxiety I guess, but primarily it just breaks up cognitive fog and stuff like that. It's stimulating in a sense but not really like the typical stimulants ie. Cocaine or amphetamine. Doesn't really have a euphoria component to it, it just helps with mental clarity

I currently have 500mg choline in my stack.
What would you recommend a good dose and how long before you take it 🤔
 
Start with 400mg. I did that years ago, living very clean at the time, and it helped me a lot at work. At times later in life I was taking 1200mg a couple times a day and that's more common. Why not start low?

I got kinda depressed if I took it too long, so I tried to take a break every few to 6 months. My thing at the time is that I would take a college course or two (to get ahead at work) and then take a semester off (and party :)). I'd do the Piracetam while I was taking classes.

The standard piracetam dose for adults is between 1,200-4,800mg a day. The largest effective dose is 1,600mg, taken three times a day for a total of 4,800mg.

Yeah I just cbf weighing the powder with a cap. Guess I'll have to be patient. And did you take the choline before the piracetam

I think I took it slightly before, don't remember for sure. It will work either at the same time or before, I'm thinking. It's not like an MAOI. The Choline helps it work not makes it possible.
I also got surprisingly noticeable benefits from Lecithin, like a tablespoon or two of it daily. So, using that as your source of Choline is good.

Without Choline supplementation
[Lecitin/ or whatever form] its not only less effective.

Headaches !
 
Not exactly the same, but I tried out phenylpiracetam a while ago. I can't remember what dose, but it was on the lower end. Definitely felt a good bit more energetic and had some euphoria. Nothing too crazy, just the kind of euphoria I used to get from caffeine when I was younger or a good sativa. It could have just been working with my coffee and nicotine though. I was also taking phenibut a little around that time so I can't speak to how much it helped the anxiety. I've been interested in picking up some more and trying it out again.

Yeah when I built a tolerance to v xanax I took it and my memory and speech improved maxium
 
And I've run out of piracetam cos I ate rusty spoonfuls of it cos I didn't have access at the time
