So this summer I started to get this pain in my upper arm. The pain wasn't that bad kinda dull. Well the weird thing about it is when I woulf get it my forearm (starting at elbows going down to wrist) and fingers would get numb/tingly. Its my left arm. Well it never bothered me because it would last maybe ten minutes go away for a while and I wouldn't feel it again maybe two weeks. I just kinda didn't pay attention to it. Around november it became more frequntly. Then the upper arm just hurt wouldn't go away and the fingers and forearm were tingly. Sometimes it would ease up. Got so bad one day in december I was standing in line at walmart with a friend and had to go sit down it hurt and was numb so much. Now during this time point I was doing herion everyday so it was very easy to forget about. Called my dr office and because I have not seen him in 3 years they consider me a new patient and they are not accepting new patients at this time. So I put it off again. Got off the herion and onto suboxone. Somedays I don't feel it and forget about it and others its there. Well here lately I've been relaxing my body and massaging the left side of my shoulders and the left side of the back of my neck(the same area the arm is hurtin/numb/tingy at times. Ill try and do the best I can to deep inside the muscles like deep tissue. I've noticed some areas I hit will make the tingliness really kick in. Its not a bad feeling its just a weird feeling. Especially when I'm massaging the neck close to the spinal cord. Ill massage the same areas the next day and it won't happen then move somewhere else still on the left of shoulders and neck and it comes back. Forearm hurting and the wrist and fingers u can fell the tingles extreme. Its almost become an addiction to this every night. Well I don't see the dr till the end of feb so what are your thoughts on this. And am I going to make it worse by doing this deep massage. Also on the neck when I'm massaging right next to or on top the spinal (I go light when I'm on the spinal cord) I hear what sounds like a lot of cracking inside, I'm I supposed to hear that ? Is that normal ?
