Hello,
I read on the Internet that Picamilon might be useful during benzo withdrawal. Can anybody tell me if that's true?
"Picamilon has been shown to upregulate the GABA-a receptors without being a GABA-a antagonist. Treatment may take a few weeks to show effectiveness. In addition, Picamilon may give some anxiety relief, but this is mild. It is the upregulation of the GABA-a sites that is critical." http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1638711/pg1 Thats the link where I read this.
I'm not going through some serious withdrawal symptoms, sometimes anxiety, had 1 panic attack, brain fog, derealisation, depression. It was pretty mild compared to other experiences or experiences from other people, but if picamilon does help, why not take it?
I can't really believe that it helps if you take GABA+Niacin. I thought you would downregulate your gaba receptors if you take gaba and that would make it worse?
Would be nice if someone could help me, maybe someone has experience with it?
