As all of you know, smoking bud will give you munchies (unless you're rolling or coked up), I was wondering if any of you know why;
is it just a psycosomatic effect? Or are there physiological explanations for this phenomena? I read somewhere (?) that you get hungry with GHB because it releases insulin in the bloodstream and I'm wondering if something similar happens with THC.

It's a chemical effect on the hypothalumus area in the brain this is the part of the brain that regulates hunger and when to stop eating,or when to begin eating. Smoking pot I guess you could say makes your Hypothalumus go off line for awhile and constantly trigger a hunger message over and over and over. There's definately more too it like the acctual chemical intereations this is just the short answer to give the jist of it.
