An enhanced albeit slower onset version of Neurontin (gabapentin) - possibly on par with Lyrica.
I figured I'd experiment with it for the first time today to help break up the month-long PAWS I've had after getting clean from Suboxone and a 5 bar/day Xanax habit.
This selective GABAb agonist seems to have a varied effect on individuals based on reading everything I could find on it over the past 3 days. Much like kratom it is an unregulated free-for-all market and is thus prone to the same problems (i.e. impurities). Anecdotes regarding slow metabolism were correct as it took roughly 3 hours for effects to kick in so it is important not to re-dose too soon. Onset is subtle yet for an individual coming from baseline you should expect to feel some abdominal warmth and tingles followed by changes in perception and cognition. The effects feel like a mix of pleasant dopaminergic stimulation with some MDMA-like serotonergic empathetic sociability - the latter of which is more likely to be effects on GABAb receptors.
What I'm curious about is, for those whom have used Phenibut, what does it feel like for you? More specifically, what drug effect does it most closely resemble to you?
I'm gonna go with a heavy dose of Neurontin (2400mg) combined with a low dose of Klonopin (1mg).
P.S. Keep your withdrawal and addiction stories out, there is way too much information on that part of it already.
