I recently had all of my wisdom teeth removed and was prescribed some 7.5/325 Percocet pills for the pain. First time I took a pill then another about 30 mins later and got a very mild body high, similar to that of smoking a little pot. Next time I took 3 all at once and got a stronger body high and some itchiness but still relatively mild. Today I took 3 pills and a fourth one broken up 30 mins later, for a total of 30mg of oxy basically all at once. This time I felt even less than the first time. Each instance was separated from the others by at least a couple days. The first and last times I had eaten a lot a about 3 hours before medicating, the second I had almost an empty stomach but ate immediately after taking the pills. I'm a 175lb-ish male, and I've never taken Percocet or any other opioid before. Is the lackluster effect just because of the food, or could I just have a naturally low sensitivity to opioids? How would you guys recommend going about it the next time around? Thanks.

Yep, some people just have a higher tolerance to opiates, or the effects aren't as pronounced for them. Another thing is that although your tolerance is very low and there was a couple days between doses your tolerance still could've built up in that time, so that could have also contributed to the lack luster effects.

Obvious solution would be to just take more, but that's not always the smartest/safest thing to do. Pretty much is you just got unlucky, I would look more into why it is so important for you to get high in the first place, even if your tolerance doesn't make much sense, you're pretty much chasing the dragon off the bat...

Sorry dude haha
