How much is it normal to pee?
I read an article the other day where a doctor said the average person pees about 6 times a day, passing about 1-2 cups of urine at at time.
I timed myself the other day and it was at least 10 times, I know other days I've gone up to 12 or more times. Sometimes it's just for the tiniest bit (like a dribble). Except for first thing in the morning, it's completely colourless. I feel really, really uncomfortable if I even *slightly* need to go but don't. Some nights I can go to the toilet up to 4 times before I feel ready to go to sleep!
I know I drink a LOT of water (like, 3 litres a day) but maybe this is not normal. Should I be "holding" it, like the article recommended to do, to train my bladder? (they say to avoid going "just in case" or you'll get a 'weak bladder'?) Or is this nothing to worry about? I have been tested for diabetes - negative.
