It was on Satellite this week, yesterday in fact. Great film but the end screwed with my head, couldn't believe what happened. Wonderful thought and I believe it comes naturally to a lot of us. Simply helping the homeless with a buck or two though they don't have much to pass forward. And being from Ft. Haterdale our politicians aren't getting on board with that idea. They won't let a 90 yr. old man feed them in our parks or the beach, it's shameful. I can pass this forward, PTR you have a great day, lol.

When my Dad was dying he started worrying that he had done nothing with his life. Truth is he was a very kind man with beautiful manners--the kind that are genuine and make people feel valued and comfortable. I told him he had probably changed a trillion people's lives every single day just by being present, looking them in the eyes when they spoke and giving a kind or cheerful word when they needed one. I really believe that. It doesn't take money or some big act of self-sacrifice, although those are wonderful, too; it just can be that you are present with those around you, authentic with yourself and other people and ultimately that leads to compassion which is the most powerful thing we have to offer. PTR and Shadowsblaze, love to you both.<3

drove illegal immigrants 2 hours away to their next work site
they were friends tho so maybe it doesnt count

no it doesn't count if they are friends.

I think that depends on if he means they were friends with each other or if he was friends with the both of them. If they were friends with each other then I'd say it counts as 1 pay-it-forward, not 2.

I ALWAYS give random people change (up to a dollar bill, no lie) at gas stations if they ask. Same with Newports. Matter of fact, if someone asks me for a jack I'm much more likely to give them two than anything else. Nothing big but hey, it's the thought that counts.

I remember a couple months back I was going into the Dash-In and there were two dudes, looked around 18, asking everybody that walked in (who happened to be black) for a little change to get something to eat-- anything, nickels, dimes, didn't matter. It was pretty obvious they needed a blunt. Me, the only white guy, walked by and they didn't say word fucking one to me, right, so I went in the store and got in line. I asked the dude in front of me if the guys outside were asking for money, was told that they were and I walked out the line and gave the fools a buck. Surprised the shit out of 'em, all I said was "Here ya go, man, be safe" and walked right back in the store. Felt pretty good, but it was more of a "Fuck you for not even bothering to ask the one person willing to help you out, punk"-kind of thing than anything else.

But yeah, the movie was pretty cool. It was no 6th Sense, though, that's for sure.

ya great film.

one time i was rolling on the train on my way to the city and a homeless man asked for some money when i got off. I said no but you can have some drags from this cigg, and stood and shared it with him.

no hep c to date. lol

Illegals need a helping hand.

I just tipped the pizza dude $8-

Oh man, that's where my karma gets reversed on me. I never tip the pizza person. Mainly because I've been a delivery driver before and tips are worked into the bill, along with a gratuity for the company's gas allowances per delivery.

It'll even automatically enter itself into the bill if you order online (I'm thinking Dominoes, Pizza Hut and Papa John's). So shitty. I took a stand and decided not to ever tip somebody after already tipping them.
