PAXIL and ECSTACY? BAD?

I heard that taking ecstacy while on Paxil is dangerous. Anyone know of why? What interactions there are?
I want to roll woth my girlfriend, and she is currently on paxil for (believe it or not) acid-reflux (a digestive problem).
And yes, I thought it highly weird to be on paxil for that, but I actually know a few others on paxil for the same reason.
