Harm Reduction pain/tension in head/face/jaw/neck

I am experiencing severe pain and almost a sort of tension but im not sure, im not sure what this is, and i'm very concerned. I take 20mglisdexamp daily but I have taken adhd meds for years without this pain. The pain is severe, and very annoying. Its like my face, my lips, in my jaw and my scalp it feels like hell, what could this be. I have been experiencing this on and off but now it's getting more frequent and maybe worse. I have been experiencing this for over a month. I have been expereincing it for almost a month and a half to two months. Only way I can describe it is that at first I thought I had a problem with my teeth, my dentist tells me it is not my teeth and to speak to a physician asap, I have a doctors appt tomorrow but am concerned that it will be in vain since this doctor seems to have some sort of bias to confirm with me and doesn't act totally in the right and with clean hands but that is beside the point, or actually maybe the reason for the post, if he tells me its nothing bc he doesn't want to bother, i will still be in pain nonetheless, i need to know what's going on, i would seek out any alternative, it's so damn frequent/severe that it really takes away from my quality of life, i have actually become somewhat more 'depressed' but not actually sad, i feel hopeless, i just want this to go away, i cant deal with the pain in my face! I marked this HR because I wasn't sure and I don't wanna do anything stupid, that's why I'm asking for advice on the matter thank you for your time.
 
Why don't you lay off the vyvanse for a few days and see if it goes away? When I was taking adderall (most often in high doses), I would get this uncomfortable tingling on my face that would go away after I took benzos. I have no clue what your specific ailment is but just breath and count to 10 man...you might be overreacting a bit

See what the doctor says, you might even come out with a script for painkillers...score!
 
I have tried days off the vyv and i still have it those days, it doesn't seem to matter. and im not even necessarily looking for pain killers, I would like a permanent fix
 
That sounds terrible!! I have had full head pain before and it sucks. I would try the typical Advil or alieve then followed by Benadryl. If that doesn't work opiates could take the pain away. It did for me when I had zero tolerance. Ask for a MRI or cat scan at your dr appt. This will help rule some things out. I feel for you. I really do. I hope it goes away soon.

20mg of vyvanase is not a lot.

I advise you to see a doctor. Perhaps you have a migrane disorder or something?

One important thing to keep in mind is to seek treatment for the underlying problem, not just the pain.
