"(P. Cubenesis / 1.7g) - Level 2 - P. Cubenesis meets Antipsychotics; trip stopping
So yesterday I decided to take some Psilocybin Cubenesis, 1700mg to be precise.
Before taking the 'shrooms, I took 10mg of the sigma receptor agonist Afobazole to help insure a good trip.
I packed the shrooms in six 000 gauge capsules, which made them not at all unpleasant to swallow.
I chased the shrooms with a couple hotdogs and some Sunny-D containing 2mg of Nicotine.
I noticed everything seeming more 3D and colorful about a half hour later as psilocin began to accumulate. About an hour later I noticed a definite lift in mood similar to ethanol.
I felt a some mild tachycardia and abdominal "tension" around two hours into the trip, and took 20mg propranolol which stopped said effects cold in 15 minutes.
I continued to notice similar effects for approximately the next few hours, until I decided to experiment with the atypical antipsychotic Lurasidone.
I took 80mg of Lurasidone at around T +3:30 on the trip, and by t +3:50 the visuals were totally gone. I suspect this is due to lurasidone's powerful 5-HT2A receptor antagonism.
I still noticed the other effects of the trip however, and decided to see what 100mg of Trazodone would do to continued 5-HT2C agonism. I noticed the altered mood from psilocin stop within 20 minutes, and the trip was basically over.
From this, one can conclude that Lurasidone effectively stops psilocin's visuals through 5-HT2A antagonism, and that Trazodone does same with less power, in addition to 5-HT2C antagonism.
One can also conclude low dose beta blockers like propranolol and targeted anxiolytics like afobazole make for a more enjoyable trip.
My friend stupidly redosed 4.5g at the end of his 2.1g trip and smoking a lot of sativa heavy weed, resulting in a second mild trip with anxiety. He declined lurasidone and trazodone, although reported propranolol 20mg to help a lot with the physical side of the anxiety.
