Oxycontin Time Release Question

I read the FAQ (very good I might add) and did a search, but didnt' find anything about taking the OC's without crushing them up. Now, I realize you may have to take more, but is there a way to get the OC high with just poppin the pills, so that way it will last 12 hours (most likely just 8), and if so, what dosage?
 
Oxys are 12 hr dosage so 80/12=6.667
So If you eat one 80 whole thats like popping 2 percs every hour for 12 hours.
adjust accordingly
Oxy 40 = 1 perc/hour for 12 hours
