Opioids Oxycontin and Codeine

I crush up an OC 40 and take three Tylenol 3's with it. For some reason, the APAP from the T3s gives a different, superior oxy high. However, the high lasts only 90 minutes -- tops. Do you think the oxy high isn't lasting so long because of the codeine? Should I just stick to taking oxy along with three regular Tylenols?
