Hi guys, 2 day ago i had a scary moment. i have been chipping oxy for 2 years, my current dose is 60mg every 3-4 days in average taken orally and sometimes via nasal spray solution.

On monday i dosed at noon 60mg orally, usual efects, usual afterglow etc. I never dose more than once a day but at 9pm I decided to dose again as I was bored and not feeling basically anything from noon dose.

I didnt felt the 70mgs i dosed at 9pm, maybe a mood lift but nothing strong. So I ate around 11:30 pm and went to watch tv.

Next thing I know I woke up with my wife screaming like crazy to my ears, calling 911,histerical. She says she found me gasping for air, unconcious and shivering. but i woke up from her screams and felt completely normal, breathing normal, pulse a bit high because she scared me with all the screming, but otherwise I was normal, acting as usual, was just like waking up from a nap.

I dont know if I ODd from the previous dose mixed with the 9pm dose or if I was oversedated, or in a deep sleep.

Can you guys help me to figure it out?

Thanks in advance for your responses, and sorry for my english, I speak spanish ;)

Thank you for your response, I dont have sleep apnea, my wife describes the sound of an extremely labored snoring. She says that for seconds I stopped breathing and she gave me mouth to mouth breathing wich was ineffective. Then I suddenly woke up feeling like a million bucks just nervous for all the screaming.

My guess is that I OD'd because the noon dose wasnt out of my body and as I wasnt feeling high or anything decided to redose the 70mg at 9pm so my bloodstream was carrying an amount of oxy that my body wasnt able to handle.

All toughts are trully apreciated.
Please share your knowledge
thank you guys!!

Most people aren't aware of their sleeping disorders or issues. Obviously, oxy depresses your respiration. This, combined with a sleep issue, could very well create what you experienced. Your body was struggling for oxygen. Could it be OD? Maybe.. 9 hours apart, when you are used to 60 anyway, leads me to believe it was a respiratory issue. The combo of the two, sleep and drugs, made it too difficult for breathing normally. I'm not an MD, so it's just my 2 useless cents.
