Opioids Oxy Withdrawals

I couldn't find any other threads that were similar to my problem,
I'm coming of a 120 Mg a day dose of oxy, been using for a couple of months now, this is day four, but to relieve the pain i have taken about 100-200 Mg's of tramadol each day but the tramadol just ran out, the tram's helped a bit but i still felt and feel like shit.

I was just wondering if i have been ruining everything by taking the trams to relieve the worst? And do you think it will be a long time till i will feel any better?

IME..oxy w/d usually lasts a week-10 days.

tram is considered an opiod/although a weak one..
but alot of ppl use it to help with w/d.

it probably helped you to feel a bit better..but not much else..
especially at that low dose.
so i doubt you ruined anything.

ibuprofen or neurontin/lyrica..
can help with the pain..and some other issues..
immodium helps with the belly upset..
search opiate w/d here on BL.
there's everything you need and more.

hope you're feeling better soon.
honestly, oxy w/d sucks..but it doesn't last..
so you can tough this out..it won't be much longer.

Thanks alot for the help, i was really lucky, i found in desperation in a closet a little bag with some suboxone that had been powdered up, probably the rest of some sub's that i had once, It might have been maybe 1 mg maybe less but it seems to have helped alot more then i thought it would because i feel alot better.

I didn't want to loose any of it so i put it in a tiny piece of paper and put it under my tounge and had it there for as long as possible so i would get it all in my bloodstream hehe.

But now i'm wondering, how long do you think i will last feeling ok now and how long will the sub stay in my system?
I took it about 3 hours ago and i feel way better, no chills stomach is good and my mood is way better.
Sadly i don't have any more :/

If it's helping now it should probably last about 24 hours and then slowly wear off, since Suboxone has a half-life of 36+ hours. It could be alot shorter though, it depends alot on your habit, metabolism, etc.

If you had insomnia before you took the sub I would recommend getting some sleep while the sub is working(insomnia and RLS are my worst wd symptoms) because you may go back into some withdrawl when it wears off. Drink some water and eat a little bit of food too if you can. If the withdrawls come back they probably won't be as bad as it was right before you took the sub but it should help the overall situation to have gotten some sleep, food and hydration.

I agree with Token, I don't think you have ruined anything by taking the Tramadol. I mean, I don't think it did anything like put off wd's or anything if that's your concern.
I think for me the worst part of wd's from oxycodone is the depression and angst, and all the emotional stuff...along with all the physical stuff.

The sub might hold you for 36 hours if you are lucky. I would expect the intensity of withdrawals to be slightly less after the sub wheres off because its like you half assed tapered. If it gets nasty later get some loperamide from the pharmacy
