I have taken some Oxy today and was wondering what people felt was a safe period of time to wait until I drink booze. 24hrs? 36hrs? Trying to figure out if I can drink tomorrow night or if it's better I wait until Sunday.

24h should be more than enough, Oxycodone half-life is only 4 hours. 8 hours is the time you should wait to be completely safe since the Oxycodone would have lost 75% of its pharmacological action. After 28h Oxy should be almost completely out of your body.

If the oxy you took had no acetaminophen(tylanol or APAP) then you can have a drink or two now. Be warned they potentiate each other very well so it can be overwhelming. I wouldn't mix them because the nausea would be very unpleasant.

Acetaminophen and alcohol has little recreational synergy and cause more harm than good. They stress your liver harshly.

24 hours seems like a very safe waiting period. :)
