otc pharms in vietnam..

My source is I've lived there for years and have plenty of experience. I could go searching through the Vietnamese Ministry of Health website to find the relevant decree, but that would be a pain in the butt. You can if you like. If you don't want to believe me because I didn't provide a link, go ahead.

When I say 'somewhat illegal' what I mean is that selling these kinds of drugs OTC is ABSOLUTELY illegal, but the law is patchily enforced (as is the case with many, many laws in Vietnam). So there are many pharmacies that are willing to flout the law. Many aren't.

I'm here now (In Saigon) I didn't try and purchase anything while I was in Hanoi but in Saigon it is hit and miss as many others have said. Out of roughly 10 Pharmacies I have tried, about 3 or 4 have sold me Diazepam (I haven't asked for any other Benzo as I'm on a Diazepam taper) And the only Opiate they sell is Codeine which always comes with Paracetamol, and I can't be bothered with CWE at the best of times especially as I have a ridiculously high tolerance and also the fact that Heroin is widely available (Which is something I had never tried up until last week) Which unfortunately makes it hard for me to make a fair judgement on the quality, although it is cheap and it definately gives an Opiate buzz. I generally snort it in 1 gram lines which make me feel quite nice:) Back home I would usually take around 400mg Oxy (OC) orally in one hit to make me feel nice.

I did find a gold mine of a chemist the other day who sold me the last of his Diazepam (Many different brands) And when I asked him if he had anymore he pulled out a tub of 30 x 6mg Bromazepam (Lexotanil) which I purchased and then he pulled out a tub of Phenobarbital! :O I purchased 10 x 100mg tabs and asked him how many I should take? He replied 2 or 3, but me being me I took 5. Within an hour I could feel them, this was around 7 PM, the next thing I remember I was waking up at 10 AM the next morning, so foolisly I took the other 5, passed out and finally got out of bed around 3pm the next day feeling extremely groggy/lethargic. Still now over 60 hours later I'm feeling a little wobbly!

It was very stupid of me as I could very easily of overdosed and not woke up! So please anybody reading this don not follow my example.

Btw the same Pharmacist said come back today as he will be getting some Prazepam instock. Which from what I read has many things in common with Diazepam. Anyone have any experience with Prazepam?

Anyway back to the topic - In my 6 Years of visiting South-East Asia things are generally the same, which is hit and miss, all you can do is ask, the majority will say no (Around 60% - 80%) Though this varies massively in Thailand, where almost 100% of the pharmacies in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai or any of the major cities will not sell you any Benzos yet they will tell you if you need some then go to the local hospital where you just walk in explain your situation, tell them what you need and they will write you a script which you collect there and then.

Yet on the Thai Islands almost 100% of the Pharmacies will sell you Benzos over the counter without any questions asked.

I also recently visited India (Goa) Where Benzos were available over the counter in most the Pharmacies I visited, yet I am always dubious of the quality of Indian Benzos.

In Ho Chi Minch City most of the pharmacists were happy to give me without any scripts temazepam, tramadol, hydrocodone, viagra (lol), xanax, and valium. The only thing they said no to was oxycodone.

You can also easily buy other drugs, particularly weed and opium, if you ask around, but this is obviously a bit riskier.

But yes it's pretty much a drug buffet qhen it comes to the pharmacies. All they care in is the power of the dollar.

PS: Be careful with those barbituates! Very easy to OD on, and most certainly do not mix them with anything else, particularly alcohol, opiates or benzos...

You need to know the amount of water used for your cwe.

I'm not sure about terpin, I'll have a look later when I'm not working.

But for paracetamol you need to use the appropriate amount of water compared to how many pills your using. Use too much and you'll get way too much para in the final mix. Your liver will hate you for it.

As for the availability of OTC pharms, I'm not %100 sure we can discuss this the way you have. You haven't actually given proper sources, so this may pass okay.

I'll talk with the other mods as to whether your post is acceptable.
