Often times if I take some hydrocodone and get high, a few days later if I try to think back to that day or even the day after I feel like I can't remember shit.
Does this happen to anyone else? And I'm not nodding or anything I'll just take like 30mg doses

hm, i never have gotten that. actually, i prefer opioids to xanax because i can actually recall things that occur at low doses

Never heard of it myself either, although if you're a regular weed smoker then adding any other drug to it would probably increase the likelihood of short term memory loss.

Never had that problem with hydrocodone but have had memory loss when mixing the hydrocodone with Ativan. Couldnt really remember what happened the previous 2 days, everything was a daze.

I often take Hydrocodone and Xanax together Like 30 - 50 MG of Hydro and 2 MG of xanax and I'll sometimes not remember what happened the previous day. But if i just take the hydro alone than I don't really get any memory loss even if I take in high doses.

Ummm... yeah, if I do dope or morphine.... I definitely get memory issues and not nodding issues either.
Like I can't remember things for a few days... then it comes back to me.
Like I doped some days ago and hid klonopin and for nothing I couldn't remember what I did with it, but I just found it today... days later after the memory is sort of back.

yeah for me it seems like the next day is harder to remember than the day of the dosing

Memory issues yes... I wouldn't say it is forgetting more as it is the opiates making everything fuzzy like a dream. You probably won't forget anything major you did and black out like if you where shit faced drunk but I find that little details didn't always happen as I remembered them (hearing how things really happened from other sober individuals at the time don't always match up to the way I remembered them)

Umm, I never had memory issues with opiates. I can remember what happened to me during the high pretty well. I usually remember what happens to me even when I smoke weed or what happened during my one and only (so far) recreational experience with benzos (I do not remember well what happened during the time when I took benzos for legit medical reasons, but I suspect this was related more to the trauma I had to take them for than to the drugs themselves). Then again, I naturally have a bad short-term memory because of my ADHD, so perhaps I just don't notice the difference... :)

I take a fair.. ok alot (for me) of opiates. I forget stuff all the time. (Hence I'm not working.) I'll do strange stuff like get up in the morning and find I've put my lettuce away in my silverware drawer instead of the fridge. (duh?) So it certainly can happen. I however am trying to cut down so I can remember and have a life.

^^^ Thats fucked up man:\ ...Eh shit happens.

Back to the thread I've never had memory issues when taking opiates. Xanax on the other hand....thats When I put lettuce in my silverware drawer(when taking too much).

for me i noticed when im on opiates it's like what i hear doesn't sink in, i just let it go in one ear and out the other. because it's like nothing matters. my memory is deffinatly affected.
