Testosterone Cypionate, originally rx'd 200mg q 7 days. Now my Endo wants to decrease to 100mg q 7 days. Considering the half-life of the ester, should I inject every 5 days?

every 5 days would be the long end i would do...every 3.5-4 days would be better...the half life cyp is right around 5 days and it's best to do another injection before the half-life is up

whatchamacallit.. I registered on the forum just so I could message you about a post that you had last year but I can't without 50 posts so if you get this could you e-mail me at [email protected] thanks a bunch man

I'd fight the decrease, that's just me. Your on trt for life I presume? do u have any interest in working out/weight lifting? If so the ammt of test your taking obviously makes a big difference.

I have in fact decided to do that and not lower the dosage. My last level was at 769 with max for this lab at 870. So I'm high-normal and that's just where I want to be. Now I have two scripts for test >:-)

And do 100mg on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, exactly 3.5 days apart. This is as even and level as I'm going to get I think.

I pin enth, cyp every 5 days - now my blood levels stay even at this , and I'm also running a lot more than TRT dose.

Just thank god your doc isn't giving you sust - you'd have 1000000 opinions on how to shoot it lol.

100mg is too low imo, 200mg every 5 days will balance fine in 99% of people.

^Thanks bro. That's what I've been doing since I originally made the thread. 200mg q 5 days for 3 weeks now. I feel better than I have in the 3 years I've been on TRT. I'm sticking with what works.

Second question; I know am or pm my natty is highest, or something like that, can't remember which. When is the optimum time of day to inject?

it doesn't matter...when you are injecting exogenous hormones your natty production is stopped and the ester that is attached to what you are injecting works as a time release itself and it releases at a constant rate

h/h = hematocrit and hemoglobin

hematocrit is the silent killer. thickens your blood. lots of bodybuilders drop dead of heart attack/stroke because of thick blood.

Been on TRT for 3 years. Same dose, same frequency.

01/25/10 Labs

Hemoglobin 17.2 (12.5-17)
Hematocrit 51.9 (36-50)

I have labs from July around here somewhere but they're probably pretty close to the same.

No baby aspirin. All my blood draws have been collected after a 12 hour fast and always in the early morning, leading me to believe the high HCT is likely from simple dehydration. And my labs have been completely reviewed by my both my PCP & Endo (both of which I HIGHLY trust) without any concern for my HCT. Finally, a high-normal or slightly elevated HCT will benefit my current fitness goals so there will be no blood letting.

I appreciate all the info and causing me to do so research myself. Cheers.
