Opiates + GABAergics, what's your opinion?

So I see alot of conflicting answers on different forums whether or not GABAergics goes well with opiates. Some people love it, others hate it. Personally I think adding any GABAergic either dulls the high or alters it in a non-favourable way (adding nausea/dizzyness). When I was addicted to benzos and heroin I remember I used to be annoyed with my benzo addiction as I thought it ruined the high if I had to take the clonazepam right after having my shot. However it seems to be individual, lots of people actually say adding a benzo increases their high. So I am curious, what is your take on the matter? Do you prefer your opiates alone, or do you like adding some benzos or having a few drinks to go along with your shot/done/subs or whatever that is your poison

Pretty sure benzos and opiates are dangerous.
Personally I think anyone should be careful about opiate usage to begin with but adding benzos to the mix isn't a good idea.

Um benzos are great with opiates what's the confusion? This is known

I think benzos can potentially dull opioids, mostly in reference to the rush being diminished, yet sedation and drowsiness increased.

BUT! This depends on the particular opioid and particular benzo used and at which doses. I use smaller doses of benzos when + w/ opioids.

Oxycodone + temazepam
Methadone + clonazepam or alprazolam
Heroin + diazepam or alprazolam

Benzos are fine with opiates IF you didn't take enough opiate. If you took enough opiate, benzo not needed. Dangerous synergy as we all know

Of course. Opiates fulfill all benzo´s "job taks"..

Benzos ruin opiates for me, curb stomps all the euphoria creating a dull, sleepy, dangerous high. Like you say there seems to be two extremes on this topic, the one's who find they potentiate and the one's who find they cancel each other out. It's amazing, I can plug a big dose of heroin and the second I eat more than a mg of xanax or the equivalent all euphoria is lost . These is just an example, It doesn't matter which opioid or benzo I've taken, same outcome unfortunately.
