Hey all,
I was wondering if opiate withdrawal results from the most recent opiate you took and got addicted too, or if the road you took to get there defines the withdrawal experience... for instance; if you have a heroin addict, oxymorphone addict, and an oxycontin addict and all of them get on subtex for 6 months--- will everyone have the withdrawal related to suboxone addiction? Or will it still retain the aspects of the initial drug of abuse creating a twisted hybrid withdrawal? Or if someone went from heroin to oxycodone or something.... Would it be an oxy withdrawal, or a twisted Heroin Oxy withdrawal?
I had a theory that while you are on suboxone, the reason I felt so shitty for the first week was because my brain was in a partial withdrawal healing from the aspects suboxone lacks which my OC had, transforming my addiction to Subs instead of OC.
I'm interested to know this to help me plan for my future detox missio and to know what to expect.
