Opiate Help

All right I'm allergic to Codeine when I take it I spend many hours throwing up. I have only smoked Opium twice and both times it was a small amount and I did not get sick. I read somewhere that if your allergic to Codeine then there is a very good chance that your will be allergic to opium so is there a good chance that I will get sick from lets say I take a few Hydrocodon?? Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I would say there is a 100% chance you are allergic...but what the hell do I know...

yeah, opium contains codeine, so i definitely wouldn't recomend doing it.
just out of curiosity, could you describe the 'opium' you tried, i have a feeling you were not smoking the real thing (you would have had a reaction if you smoked even a small amount).

See thats the thing I know for sure that the opium was the real thing and it did not make me sick. I only took a few hits from it because I was afraid of it making me sick. I'm not a dumbass I know what I was smoking was Opium because of the taste and smell of it.

chances are you are not technically allergic to opiates. some people just have a hard time digesting them, it upsets your stomach for some reason or another and you puke it up. i'm not a huge fan of railing large pills, such as hydrocodone, but it may be the best option you have.
by the way, i just took 20mg of hydrocodone 10 minutes ago.

The Opium was Dark Brown. The best way I can explain it is it kinda looked like a ball of resin.

I don't know the whole situation, but here are a few more possibilities, though they are doubtful.
1) Codeine, unlike most other opiates (all?) CAN and does expire. I have taken several MG of liquid codeine...only to later find out it was over a year old...needless to say I got sick as hell.
2) You *can* be allergic to JUST codeine, and not all opiates. My brother in law is highly allergic to codeine, yet he has no problem with Hydrocodone. His doctor told him why, and he thusly told me...but I do drugs so I have no memory.

Just some things to think about.

Well Speedlimit I think your right. I think I'm just allergic to Codeine. Because if I could smoke the opium and not get sick it must be the codiene. Well I guess I will find out for sure in a few days.
