Opioids Opiate Allergy?

Every time I smoke H, I end up getting extremely itchy. I know to some extent this is normal, so I dealt with it by just consuming loads of antihistamines. However it's got to the point where I end up having to eat literally 20-30 loratadines/cetirizines a night, and I often can't sleep (or will wake up itching and have to take more antihists to be able to fall back asleep).

Is this just an exagerrated histamine response, maybe i'm sensitive? Or could I be allergic to morphine? If so, what are the implications?

I get super itchy on some stuff. I think (but do not know, don't quote me on this) that different types of H/cuts trigger differing histamine responses. Morphine makes you itchy anyway, and codeine makes you really itchy after you hit the cap because your liver can't process any more. I don't have any grand advice except keep tabs on how much you're doing and the correlation of itchiness.

i thought this happens with everyone?
the itchiness is a histamine release that your body uses to flush out bacteria or viruses, perhaps your body thinks heroin is a toxin or a virus? (and its bloody well right).

From my knowledge it is advised to take the antihistamines before the opiate. Like 1 hour before. Also the Heroin could theoretically be cut with something else

I know it normally doesn't hit instantly, maybe it's just from morphine degradation products/metabolism?

And I know everyone gets it.. but is it normal to have to go through an entire packet or two of antihistamines?

If you're going through that many, they probably just aren't working. Do you actually get relief from them when you take so many?

Yeah I do, but temporarily. And itch goes on for hours

Well that last part is definitely not abnormal. How high are you getting?
