Cocaine Only getting small crystals after acetone wash

After doing the acetone wash, I can't help but notice that I only get small crystals. The product is very good, but I am also after the aesthetics! I don't want small crystally sparkles, I want mother of pearl flakes. After the wash, I fold up the coke inside of the filter paper, making an empanada, and I press down to drain any extra fluids. I always press hard so that it helps the drying process. But like I said, all I get are small crystals. How can I get those mother of pearl flakes? Should I press lightly on the filter because perhaps I am crushing the crystals by pressing hard? Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thank you.



Also note that after pressing hard on the filter paper to remove liquids, I leave the filter paper folded over the coke and let it dry by itself for 24 hours. I do not introduce it to a heat lamp.

@psychedelic_jay: Yes i am making my acetone anhydrous as per le junk's guide.


@mr.s: I am doing my best to control the volume of loss, but this thread is about the aesthetics, so without being rude, don't tell me what to be concerned about. If you have any tips, it would be greatly appreciated.
