Opioids only get effects from opiates when smoking weed

hi Iam a big fan of good weed and Iam a regular smoker for about 3-4 years and I also experiment now and then with opiates I h8 any kind of stimulant because of the comedown next day.Is it normal that I feel the desired effects from opiates only when I smoke weed ??? opiates alone doesnt get me where I want to be I tried codeine DHC morphine poppy tea and neither of them got me high like you people describe opiate high blissfull warm feeling without a care in the world now I get this feeling from them but just when I smoke weed on them is this normal? :D
 
Do you smoke every day? If so, it could be due to the fact that your body isn't used to not being high from weed. Consider yourself lucky that you don't feel the euphoria from opiates because that could very well save you from going through hell.
