ok, i got these plain white pilz that are thin and scored on one side..they tasted extremely bitter, but when i tested them, they fizzed and thats it, no smoke, no color change at all...
the tester that we have is kinda old and the liquid is a light brownish color, but i tested another pill and it went dark purple right after i tested these, so the reagent works at least...any ideas as to what i might have on my hands?? any quick info would be very much appreciated!

A few weeks ago I got some Blackberries. I cut one in half and scraped off some. When I tested it, it just fizzed. Like when you put peroxide on a cut. I looked at the testing faq on erowid.org and it said that reaction is BZP (Benzylpiperazine). I read some reports on it. Most were good, few were bad (stupidity and mixing with other piprazines). They said the effects were like MDMA, but a little different. So three friends and I decided to try them. We felt a little weird, which we couldn't explain, and were extremely quiet all night. Four hours later when I went to bed I had a little headache. Woke up two hours later with a huge headache. Not sure if the headache is related to taking this pill or not.
This might or might not be what you have. I have two more blackberries left. I'm thinking about sending one to Dancesafe.

Even if your tester is five years old and completely brown, a reaction with an Ecstasy like substance will give a different reaction than what you describe.
Just fizzing -> not an Ecstasy like substance.

This reaction could be something as simple as a bunk pill with a certain type of binder.
If the binder was a carbonate, e.g: calcium carbonate, the acid in the tester reacts with this and gives off CARBON DIOXIDE.
Theres your fizzing, and there would be no colour change.
So in other words the pill could be anything, just not one covered by the tester.

I saw a similar reaction just recently in a double-stacked bright white pill with a clean pressed "E": as soon as the reagent hit the powder, the powder fizzed and bubbled but didn't change the colour of the reagent. I've seen this reaction before testing with Ketamine (Special K, etc.) in its powdered form. Friends who tried this pill reported light tingling in their extremeties (fingertips, etc), which may be the anaesthetic properties of K. However, a 100mg pill is a light oral dose of Ketamine, and my friends have never tried K orally, so we can't make any comparisons between the experiences.

Hope this helps.

funny....i just posted somthing simular....read this...Ok people need some advise.Got some Pink Lightning Bolts (more purple/dark pink) couple of weeks back and as per usual gave them the test...Now ive never seen anything bubble before so to me it was a myth...but these things did.Furiously.Here comes the stumper....Either it was a mixed batch cause some didnt bubble at all...we used 2 diff tester kits (both ez 1 new 1 bout 5 months old) and when they did bubble it only seemed to buble with my tester(the older 1)...any ideas on why this happened? They bubbled quick to black however when wiping my bowl clean there was def green remains too.Was this bubbling due to the ez kit being to old(if that makes any sense ?)cause they were strong as all fuck and if not why only the bubling respons to the older testing kit?now me being the curious person i am tested all 10 of em and as i sid only bubbled with my tester... Are ez watering down there testers :P?
Thanks Bitch
now mine did go black....could it be old testers just bubble things lol?but they were oh so strong and def mdma.
