Online University vs. "Real University"

I work about 50 hours a week in a job that is pretty high paying for not having a degree and I have been here for about 3.5 years now. I started out here just taking a break for a semester and then I thought maybe one more wouldn't hurt and before I knew it 3.5 years passed. I have about 75-80 hours from a Community College/4-year University and want to finish because it will always be something in the back of my head if I don't. My question is how do you guys think professionals think about people who come and apply at their corporation with an online degree?

Because I work and travel so much it's hard to go to a "real" university and when I say "real" I mean an establishment, that's not to say that I don't think an online university is "real." My major is criminal justice and I want to finish but I another problem I'm having is that I don't really know what the major will do for me. Have any of you switched majors over half-way in? Any thoughts are appreciated; which is mainly what I'm looking for, I know there isn't a right or wrong answer.

Is your problem that time constraints would make it hard to attend classes at a physical university? If so, plenty of "real" universities offer online courses. Right now I'm taking classes at my New Zealand university with people from several countries, including the US; taught over the internet using chat/voice/powerpoint type slideshows, etc.

I'm sure you could find a real university that would let you take your course online.
