After a few years or more than a few in tha drug game you can get jaded like nobodys bizness. lots of lives can lead you to bein that way but drugs is a pretty quick way to get there.

you know how sometimes its hard to separate the cynical attitude/jadedness from the actual shit you learned thats actually valuable to know in this life. shit thats "just the way it is" know what im sayin

LIke you lose your inocence about the whole thing. (not that you had it in the first place some of us =P ) but anyways

Whats some of the truths and realizations that you started to see over time?

Shit like never gettin too excited over something somebody says when theyre fucked up cuz the pain of hearing "damn i dont remember that" the next day teaches u real quick

learning not to listen to the cats talkin like "soon i might be gettin ______" cuz youll believe it when you see it

realizing that if somebody dont call you back it was for a reason and not blowin up their phone with "yo man what the deal is you never called me back"

learning to never put out more for someone than they would put out for you (yea its different w.your homies no doubt im just talkin about cats you kinda/dont really know or people you just do biz with)

losing the enjoyment in hookin up people thats your friends' people or even peeps thats your friends but always ask for a little more than they are willing to give or etc. basically anybody other than your dawgs...you know how you be all excited and glad to help people out cuz you got the hookup when you first started out....
you would be like "yea yo you need 3 g's for you and your boys i got you covered" but soon it turns into 'sorry yo' just cuz you aint gettin nothin out of it and they aint doin you no favors.

and shit like that

I could go on about shit forever but then yall would have nothin to say without repeatin me so ill hold up on that.
 
Don't rely on the government for shit. Foodstamps, welfare, student loans, disability, etc. None of that shit is relaible. Only thing to count on is the money earned with your own sweat/blood.

There's nothing cool, honorable, "tight" or "street" about poverty, homelessness, hunger, or living in the slums.

You may be the coolest, most enlightened, shamanisitic head out there but you're the only one. Most people involved with drugs are concearned with their bottom line.

If you're scoring drugs on the street or out of car windows something shitty WILL happen to you eventually.
 
When buying shit on the street, duck into an alleyway or some obscure area away from a major street, unless you want to be caught on camera.

More knowledge to drop about street scoring: Peep the sack before you give anyone money, and never give anyone money with the promise theyll return with drugs. ( I know its a no brainer, but we were all 15 or 16 at one time).

Dont fuck with Nortenos (Mexican Mafia).

Never enroll in MMT for any reason whatsoever.

Dont cook meth without letting The Hells Angels/Sons of Silence/(insert local biker gang here) know about it.

Always have multiple dealers for any given substance, because eventually at least one of them is going to get popped or get out of the game.

If you can avoid it, dont ever get thrown in a jail in California.

Treat police with utmost respect and restraint, even if they dont deserve it.

Most people have their own agenda, and wont help you out unless it benefits them in some way. You can only rely on yourself

Chances are if you think a guy was a shady fuck in the first place he was a shady fuck.

thats a good one....sometimse ya gotta bail. whether its on a deal or a situation or whatever sometimes but you gotta know when to call it quits before you end up losing more than you did in the first place
 
you got to learn real quick what to not to say around which people and when not to talk at all. cause sometimes it doesnt matter who your dad is or what company you work for.

somebody i know used to go into the city (jamaica queens) for shit and one time one of these cats brought their girl with them. (this was a bitch who was NOT down and didnt know her ass from her ankle when it came to respect/street code etc. total honky suburban bitch)

they step over a body on the way up the stairs in this cat's highrise and the bitchs like OH MY GOWWDDD u know, but that aint the worst of it

they go in the dealers apartment, hes a crack man so its all tweaker pad style in there skanky u know, but whatever. but this chick asks to use the bathroom (bad move in the first place, in the middle of a deal and you cant hold it? this aint preschool)
so the dealer says go in his bathroom and she comes right back out and says

I've lean't pretty quick who's usin ya for your connects, and who only invites you to heir do's because you bring all the drugs, and who only hangs with ya when you shout em the night...
 
I now know that selling drugs wont get you anywhere, but doing them will if you are creative enough. Giving up your dreams for drugs is ridiculous, living your dreams with drugs is fantastic

The Blood, Crip and Folk run the crack trade and higher-level coke distribution where I am. You do NOT fuck with these people. If you screw them over, you will be made an example of, no matter what it takes. If that means a handful of people have to die and they take a loss, so be it. I'm not saying that your family would die if you swiped a $5 chip of crack, but if something fucks up where hundreds of dollars or more are involved... someone is going to die or spend a long time in the hospital.

Never buy a large quantity of LSD without sampling the goods or having a tester to sample them. I've known people that have known each other for a decade that have cheated each other when the stacks of cash are involved. If they are not willing to let you cut two random hits from seperate sheets of blotter, fuck them. If you are about ot hand them thousands of dollars, you need some reassurance that the goods are in order. If its bitter, you got fucked (probably 5-meo-amt).

If you are buying seriously high grade pot (ultra top notch), and the dealer won't offer you a hit to sample the product, I'd be dubious. If its that good and you try it, they know you will buy it. Its a guaranteed sale.

If you are buying hallucinogens, and they don't have a proper scale, move on. If they can't give you detailed info (say, with an RC, or whatever), move on.

If you are buying "pure" MDMA ("Molly") and it isn't snow white, move on.

Brown molly is fairly common in Britain. The potency difference between the white and brown is negligible too.

It means that the chemist didn't care enough or know enough to properly clean it up after the reductive amination was done. There are some nasty things used that, if one were very lazy or stupid, could end up in the product (such as mercury).

I wouldnt touch the stuff... same way I wouldn't buy yellow coke or pink meth.
 
-Learn early on who you can trust.

-When drugs and money are invloved- alot of people will take advantage of you if they see any oppertunity to.

-Drinking and driving is just plain stupid. No matter how well you think you can drive when your drunk -dont. I kno people who still regret it. Just call a cab or have a friend drive you home... shit sleep in your car if you have to.

-Don't let people know the extent of your drug use. Chances are alot of bluelighters on here do more drugs then the "average person" hah. Once someone knows how much you use or if your addicted to something they automatically will assume your messed up when your not.

-If a dealer rips you off chances are they WILL DO IT AGAIN.8(
 
Just a few from a legal perspective:

As mentioned above, do not drink and drive. Especially underage - you may be 100% fine to drive after a couple drinks, but that doesn't matter. If your BAC is over the limit, you're f*cked. DUIs aren't taken lightly when you're looking for a job.

If you're carrying in your car, don't break the law. I can't believe how stupid people are, always getting pulled over for speeding, equip. violations, etc. Don't give the cops an excuse to pull you over - because all they need is one.

If you do get stopped, cooperate but keep your mouth shut. I got stopped with my friend once @ a DUI checkpoint with bud in the car .. he admitted to smoking pot, they found some on him, he got booked. I walked. Cops can verify a DUI easily, but if you've got no drugs to be found, and don't admit to being on them, they can't do much to prove otherwise and take you into custody.

Know your rights. If a cop asks to search your car, he has no right to if you refuse. Just maintain that you're in a hurry, don't have time, etc. They may pester you, but if they're asking, its because they haven't met the legal requirements to conduct the search. In fact, they can only do a "search incident [after] to arrest" if they have probable cause to do so - and they still can't search the trunk. [Police do get around this by doing an 'inventory' at the impound lot].
Unfortunately, with a recent supreme court decision, a refusal is more likely to lead to canine drug dogs coming out .. but those aren't perfect. I'm only talking about the small-time BLers here; if you've got a commercial load in the trunk and get stopped, you're an idiot anyway, good luck. And of course, if you don't give the police any reason to be suspicious in the first place, you'll be fine. I've done some stupid stuff, but I tend to obey traffic rules these days, and don't roll around blastin cypress hill with pot smoke streaking out the windows. Although that sounds like a good idea right about now.

Finally, if you're under 18 and reading this - go f*ck some shit up

I got hooked once or twice as a kid, but all the fun shit I've wanted to do since has been a lot more riskier now that I'm an adult.

I don't fuck around with sketchy people anymore either, just not worth the headache. I'm beyond my dependence days; if I can't get something through my circle of friends, it isn't worth the trouble.
 
^^those are good tips but they dont work for everyone yo see the "how do the cops usually treat you" thread....

those are rules for "normal" people that dont pr might not apply if youre poor/black/hispanic etc or a million and one other things that we been bringin up in the thread i jsut said, and the stop bashing cops thread.

alot of dealing that involves meetin somebody you know for a half o-z, personal use, etc, aint really got those risks and shit that you could unknowingly take when youre wit the types of shit i was talkin abut.....but another one i can think of for when you do street level dealing and shit....KNOW YOUR ROLE

You would have thought after going to all the effort of procuring precursors, learning chemistry and synthesising MDMA that a little wash would be no effort at all....... It makes baby jesus cry.
