This is going to be somewhat long, it's my first time posting on this site but I'd really like to get some people's input on this because I don't quite know myself.

I've smoked weed for about 2 years now & everything in the past 3 months has been real crazy, as in myself. Smoking weed use to be a blast & would always a great time with my friends, but lately I get real bad anxiety & ive though to myself that I can't control my thoughts and it made things a lot worse. A had my first panic attack while I was high because something triggered me to kinda spiral out of control about a month ago. But about a week ago things got real bad & I got prescribed olanzapine (zyprexa). Let this be know the anxiety & thought issue wasn't caused by weed I guess it would just enhance it. I haven't smoked since I had that panic attack & since being prescribed olanzapine, I've been on the prescription for a little less than a week, I'd say it's helping & id also say my mindset has changed for the better aswell, I've picked up meditation, more knowledge of why I've had these issues & other things to make me more calm of the whole situation. I was with my friends today & they were smoking, I felt like I wanted to & kinda miss being high, although I didn't because I was afraid of what could happen.
So with all of that my questions are, will I be alright smoking weed & taking this medication? Myself as a person, will I be alright? Tips on how to just be more calm if the result becomes me smoking again? I want to just be more educated on this

As far as I know, cannabis doesn't have any adverse interactions with other drugs. You are safe in that you won't overdose or stop breathing because of the drug interaction. That being said, it does sound like cannabis is causing you a great deal of mental discomfort and maybe even triggering anxiety and possibly more severe mental health issues. It's not advisable to start taking other drugs to cope with side effects caused by the initial drug. If cannabis is causing you mental health issues I would suggest quitting before you add more to the mix..

When I used to smoke everyday I noticed that the way I viewed myself and social setting seemed to have a big impact on how I would feel when I was high. When I smoked in stressful situations where I needed to be cognitive and able to perform it often caused more anxiety and I would question myself non-stop. The worst cases of road rage occurred when I had a joint or pipe in hand, which was the opposite of what I thought. When I had nothing to do is when it seemed to be the most relaxing. Being free of obligations would mean I wouldn't have to worry about being forgetful or whatever else I might worry about.
