After ten years of rocking the boat, disturbing the waters, and testing the patience of the gods, we were finally banished to Hades. However, we were allowed to assemble one last lineup of the year from some of the area’s hottest talent, reaching from Columbus to Indianapolis, Dayton to Louisville and even Detroit, and of course the Queen City for this final journey of 2010 as we pay our coins to Charon, the boatman…and have him take us across the River Styx. But we aren’t going quietly…we’re taking four stages of booming sound and stomping feet with us!

As with every Monster Mash, costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, but not required. This is an all ages event, however there is a cash-only bar available for 21+ with a valid ID. Monster Mash will once again be held at Queen City River Tours and will be hosted on the boats for a cruise. The boats will start loading around 10pm, final boarding and take-off will be around midnight. If you are coming from out of town, make sure you time your departure with enough time to account for traffic. Better to be early than miss the boat! The boats are covered on the top decks and enclosed on the bottom decks, so we sail off for Hades, regardless of the weather!

$15 @ the door | All Ages | 21+ for the cash bar| 859.486.9500 or www.inthegrooveproductions.com for info and directions

No drugs. No outside alcohol. No glass containers. No weapons of any sort. No permanent markers or spray paint. No drama. ROAR for anyone who doesn’t play by the rules. Bring cash for the bar, your water wings, dancing shoes, and your best costume!

Finally, this party marks the official send off for Spunny, who is moving back to California! So buy that girl A LOT of drinks to show her how much we're going to miss her! And don't forget that as always, Monster Mash doubles as Mamagroove's birthday party as well! SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE!

***Vinsanity****
Detroit, MI – LP Events/Massive Detroit - Techno
The Motor City takes their underground music scene VERY seriously. Vince is no exception to this, bringing the very flavor of Detroit with him down to the Ohio River to rock the boat. Mixing Techno and funky house, with plenty of loops and samples mixed in, Vinsanity is as much an engaging DJ as he is a crowd pleaser.

***Hot Mess***
Columbus, OH - Household Management/Drumz/Wreck And Rep – Dubstep
The combined efforts of Keith Swet and Vacate have been hard to miss over the past year. From featured releases on Beatport to demolishing floors up and down the coast. They have shared the stage with many of dubstep's heavyweights and have had their work rinsed by many of the same. Their remix of Blu Mar Ten's "Believe Me" has been receiving worldwide praise. Poised to unleash a slew of new tracks this fall, it will be hard to go a night without getting a little messy.

***DJ Plexxx (of The Disco Aliens)***
Louisville, KY - La Honda/Disco Aliens/Lunatik – Booty Breaks
DJ Plexxx of the Louisville based "Disco Aliens" brings his 8 years of experience to Cincinnati for a solo performance of distinct hip hop, booty breaks and heavy basslines. Plexxx's impressive technique and skill have blown away crowds all over the midwest. Sharing the stage with such artists as Rabbit and the Moon, Curtis B. and Monk, this DJ came to get down!!

***Stuart Allen***
Dayton, OH – Give Us A Break! – Breaks
Hailing from the renowned Midwest breakbeat camp Give Us A Break!, founder Stuart Allen has been making a name for himself across the Midwest. From Chicago to Miami Stuart has been sharing bills with the biggest names in breakbeats.

***Mister Shifter vs. Sinister vs. Trip Turlington***
Columbus and Cincinnati, OH - In the Groove/Lunatik/Mister-Shifter.com – Glitch Hop/Drum & Bass 3-way tag team
If you didn’t catch Mister Shifter and Trip Turlington opening for Digiraatii at Next Era’s “Back 2 tha Grime featuring Datsik” at the Madison, then you missed out. If you DID catch this show, then you know that adding Sinister in to this mix can only mean one thing: TOTAL.UTTER.DESTRUCTION from 3 area veteran DJs known for destroying dance floors. Bring the drama.

***Bit Flip & Firecat 451***
Cincinnati, OH – Lunatik/Royal Dubs/BASSment/Mobius Audiolab - Breaks/Electro/Dubstep
Since 2006, Cincinnati native and breakbeat connoisseur, Bit Flip has been rockin' the decks with a secret blend of broken beats and steady basslines. Accompanied by DJ/MC Firecat 451 of Royal Sound System, the funk is in full effect with on the spot lyrical genius and head turner DJ. Look forward to a creative mix from progressive to dubstep from this king of the decks.

***Mamagroove***
Northern KY – In the Groove – Progressive/Tech House
Mamagroove’s podcasts and internet radio shows have reached audiences and gained respect all over the world, and now she’s sharing them live in the Tri-State. Make sure to catch this highly anticipated set, as well as wish her a happy birthday!

***Big Kyle***
Indianapolis – House
Kyle comes from our friendly neighboring state armed with a crate of body jackin house to get the night started on the right note! No nonsense. Just house.

***DJ MPH***
Los Angeles, CA – Cincy Speed Crew – multi-genre
A Cincinnati/Northern KY native and formerly repping the Cincy Speed Crew, DJ MPH is making a special trip back to the Tri-State from the West Coast to throw some records and help get the night started. Don’t forget to catch his set at the official afterparty at The Main Event!

***Jason Brooks***
Northern KY - In the Groove – Progressive/Tech House/Electro
In the Groove’s creator and veteran Midwest DJ, having rocked the decks for well over a decade as Nautigroove all over the states and even in parts of Europe, is still serving the beats that make you move with flawless mixes and crowd pleasing authority. Big, banging, chunky beats to make you move.

I concur, always the best times we've had in Cincy have been on the boat, and especially the Halloween costume party ones.

Please note the updated directions for our friends from the south of Cincinnati, this will help you to avoid the 71/75 construction traffic on the bridge downtown. Everyone be safe, can't wait to see you all!
