As you may have noticed, we have decided to implement prefixes. This will allow for better searches and will allow you to filter what threads you see.

If you use the advanced search feature, you're able to utilize thread prefixes to narrow down your search.

If you'd like to filter what you see, you're able to by selecting a prefix from the lower right hand corner drop down menu.

Here is what's available so far. Chances are we may add, remove, or edit prefixes in the future.

  • cocaine
  • heroin
  • opiates
  • RC's
  • bupe
  • benzos
  • amphetamines
  • misc
  • HR

Note that there aren't prefixes for everything. We couldn't possibly include every single substance or situation, but we're open to (PM) suggestions. The prefixes we have chosen so far represent the most popular topics discussed. We certainly anticipate adding more if we need to, so don't stress if you can't find the proper prefix. Use the misc prefix in that situation.

Prefixes can be set by the OP upon thread creation. They can also be set and edited by OD mods and senior staff members. If you see a prefix used incorrectly, please use the report feature.

A couple of points:
1. Use the misc prefix if you can't find the proper one.
2. If you're discussing a topic that may have multiple prefixes, pick the dominant one.
3. Do not abuse the system. You will be warned/infracted/banned if it's malicious or repeated.
4. We will slowly be adding prefixes to threads that already exist, if we believe they merit one.
5. Use the report feature to report incorrect prefixes.
6. Have a nice day. :)

Alright, with the conception of the prefixes in OD, we should probably lay out the format for each prefix; how to apply them with new threads.
If you are starting a new thread then here are some examples to follow. It really is as simple as it looks to follow. If you still have any problems or queries then don’t hesitate in contacting one of us moderators and we’ll respond as soon as possible. Make use of the (Misc) prefix if you’re unsure and are awaiting on a response from a moderator.

Prefix and then an example Title

(cocaine) How do I turn my Cocaine hcl into the freebase to smoke?

(RCs) What kind of strain does Mephedrone cause on the heart?

(opiates) Withdrawing from Hydrocodone* *Hydro interchangeable with fentanyl, codeine, poppies, etc; those opiates that aren’t covered by the existing prefixes.

(heroin) What’s the difference between #3 and #4 Heroin?

(amphetamines) How to purify my street meth* *Meth interchangeable with Adderall, Dexedrine, etc.

(benzos) Switching from Xanax to Klonopin

(bupe) How to find a Bupe Doctor

(misc) Herbal aids for sleep?

(HR) What micron filters do you recommend?

Wanting to start a poly-drug thread? Say for instance you’re shooting cocaine and would like to use some heroin and how much would be a safe dose, then cocaine would be the dominant drug and represent the prefix. Or you’re starting to wig out on an amphetamine run and would like to cut it short using an anti-psychotic and wondering what kind and at what dose would be sufficient then amphetamines would be the dominant drug and be the prefix.

it's to our attention that there's a few threads slipping through which haven't been tagged with the correct (if one at all) prefix, especially the (misc) tag.

we're just throwin this thread back up as a reminder to all about how our tags work, since they're still only a new conception and we're wanting to help kick a few kinks out of the line.

please, also report any incorrectly tagged threads you see.

oh i totally forgot to mention what exactly the main problem is. because the (misc) tag is invisible to see on the main page, it's not visible to mods whether they're tagged in the first time - we obviously don't read every thread. if you could just add what the drugs you're talking about in the title under the (misc) prefix then half the problem is solved.
