OC Sickness...

Yesterday around noon I snorted a 20mg pill of Oxy. About 2.5 hours later, I smoked some of a Black 'n' Mild cigar, and began to feel extremely light headed and very naseous (sp?). I vomited a couple of times, and my question is, if the sickness was from the drug wouldn't I have gotten sick right before or during the experience? It happened to me when I was coming down. I'm guessing it was the cigar, because that is when I started feeling horrible. (And I was inhaling the smoke

). Why would I get sick from a cigar? I've taken some Vicidon before and smoked one, and I was fine. Oh and the only thing I ate before I snorted was a bowl of oatmeal like 3 hours prior. Help?!

I try to consider everything, but everything is not a considerable amount.
 
Generally alot of people do get nausea from opiates, and 20mgs of Oxycodone is a good size dose for someone with a reasonably low or no tolerance. And if that someone is you, then you are a good candidate for vomiting.
There really is no set time to where you will puke after taking an oxy. It could be the come up, platuo(sp), or the come down, you never know. As for the cigar, it could have contributed to the feeling sick, but the oxycodone was more than likely the main cause of it. Once you build a tolerance for opiates you will be alot less likely to puke throughout the whole experience...hope I helped.
 
I have found that taking an antihistimine greatly reduces my nausia from oxycodone. I am relatively new to the drug and only do 20mg at a time. This dosage, without an anti-histimine will make me sick to my stomach and i usually throw up. I would recommend either phenergan(sp) or another anti-histimine that is OTC but i can not remember its name (its not the active ingredient in benadryl).

BlueMonday, you have to remember how these drugs work. When you snort the powder, a few minutes later, you get that awesome, warm rush that slowly fades away. 2 or 3 hours later, you may not feel that initial power anymore, but there is still quite a lot of the stuff in your system. A few hours after using OC, or any other narcotic, you could still do something that would make you sick.
I don't know if you are a regular smoker, but the cigar smoke probably induced the vomit. Shit, I'd probably puke if I smoked a cigar sober.
 
theres some nights when i take OXY that i feel quite NAUSEOUS and could PUKE, but this is USUALLy because i have nothing in my stomach..OXY totally kills my appetite to the point to where i have to FORCE myself to eat...
