Hello bluelight, ive read your posts on google for a longgg time now and i think its time i joined. sorry if this is in wrong place (i mod a cannabis site for 6 years i understand the pain of fixing errors). anyways ive had severe anxiety and panic attacks for about 7 years. when i was about 16 (22 now) i got 0.5 xanax XR prescribed. now back at a walk in clinic i have a different doctor prescribing me 60 0.5 xanax and raised up to 90 tablets in the 2nd month. im going back for month number 3 with him november 20th. he also prescribed me once before at 16 when i had medicare now its hard with no insurance. anyways i have spasms sometimes and bad trouble sleeping and VERY annoying back pain. chiroporactor gave me meds for pain as well the basic 10 mg narcotics. didnt last long . i know how addicting they are so my question is how can i or what can i say to get my doctor to give me valium instead? ive been taking benzos for a while off and on. not addicted at all. i once had a seizure i think from not eating and coming off of pain meds. but i tried both and i generally feel the valium will help more for pain and muscle tightness and anxiety and i dont seem to slur words on high doses of valium. another thing is i dont want him to give me 2mg valium. the .5 xanax dosent even help now. hes a semi strict doctor but dont have much options really. thanks in advance BL!

p.s i know you guys see these threads all the time sorry lol.
