NYE - 2002 where will you (want to) be?

Ok everyone,
where do you plan to be for New Years Eve 2002? I *did* plan to goto brisbane but that doesn't look 100% too good at moment. So Im trying to see where it might be good to go if anyone has ideas yet?
Just basically name where/when/why, no need to state 'I'll be at Sydney with 5 pills and 10 points etc etc'. We really don't want to know about how much (if any) you will be having that period, just where you will be and why? (DJ's/friends/scenery etc)
I NEED IDEAS!!

OK preference number one is a bush doof festa (You know like 5 days). But thanks to our EPA friends Earthcore aren't throwing one and don't know of any other bushers throwing one yet. The other option for be is a city massive(s). The only event I know thats going ahead for sure is FRANTIC with LAB4. But anywayz will stay Vic bound.

En_on_X and i will be getting away from it all this year. Been in Melbourne the last two years which was great but i think we'll be heading up to the Blue Mountains this NYE and try and find ourselves a small bush party.
I don't doubt Utopia will be a great night but i'm getting a bit over those type of parties.
My second option will be a small house party with about 30 of my friends....they always rock

Did think about going interstate or even back to the UK for Xmas/NYE but somehow the lure of Utopia overshadows Kitty's itchy feet syndrome.

I agree with GlowGurlz and Gleep... new years is so overated that the only way you can have a good time is to make sure you're surrounded by friends...
I propose a house party somewhere... fuck the expensive events and $10 bottles of water... lets just ring in the new year in private!
