post how you think massive surveillance will effect the drug game.

- i have always contended "don't text anything stupid/incriminating" whether drugs or whatever else. sure as fuck don't now.

- i'm sure at least a few RC vendors will quit based on all this.

the new xbox you have to have the kinect connected all the time and on.. sooooooo im guesssing microsoft has plans and deals for the whole NSA future. to spy on felons etc through the kinect

if i cared at all about the NSA i wouldnt be making multiple posts on bluelight every day

im a little fishy and so are you, er well, if ya arent, tuff noogies.

I think people fail to realize that it's not about actually caring about someone's drug use, it's about caring about digging up shit on someone. If the NSA can use DEA info to take down someone on their list - no matter how minor - why wouldn't they?

I'm so thrilled, proud, and hopeful of the future.
I love the idea that big brothers can watch me through my webcam without me knowing it.
It makes me so proud that I am raising my son in a country that supports ear marking favoritism impunity and deliberate eye aversion to "strong" members of the community.
I hate that I have to ask for permission before investigating my own curiosities.

In a world that has environments like Tor and SR. What the fuck is really wrong with people deciding their own lives I mean seriously.

NSA gets/justifies most of its funding for the "terrorism" game.

Especially if ur just a personal user, please get the NSA out of your head. It will do more schizo-harm than good.

^Can't do that, NOD.

It's true, the NSA could care less about me, because I am nobody. But the shit they're pulling should be on everyone's minds, because of where it will lead us if left unchecked. It's not about them having/not having something on you, it's about the power they are abusing in the name of the War on Terrorism.

My advice to everyone: don't let the news make you paranoid, but don't let your lack of paranoia make you complacent and/or careless.

I agree to the extent that you should speak up, but if you're the average daily drug user/abuser; please don't speak up on the NSA/FBI/CIA and/or any conspiracy theories. The paranoid (high percentage drug users) are the reason actual conspiracy theories easily get discredited in the first place.

It's already been shown that NSA is sharing info with the DEA.

When East Germany collapsed they got a lot of files from the Stazi, the files showed when people got on "the list" they would use stuff they would dig up on them to ruin them. I would not put the "homeland security" above that.

Maybe someone visit the wrong country, get too active in a political protest and all the sudden they get pulled over with 3-8balls=a few years behind bars.

Maybe a married political person sets up a meeting with a prostitute, oops some how got busted.

People act like new shit is going on. No, nothing new is taking place. Everything recently publicised has been going on for years.

It's true that conspiracy nuts certainly aren't helping to spread awareness and/or turn the tide of public awareness toward healthy outrage. We should all strive to base our opinions, arguments and predictions on reality.

There's a difference between suspecting that something is going on, and learning about something real that is actually going on. In the former case, we end up developing conspiracy theories; in the latter we move past the "I believe it's happening" stage to the "now that we know it's going on, what can we do about it?" stage.
