University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston is working with NIDA in hopes of unveiling a new treatment for methamphetamine use disorder. We are the very first site in the nation, and the only enrolling site in Texas, for a first-ever large NIDA trial for methamphetamine use disorder.
Our new research study is seeking males and females, 18-65, for a study evaluating two medications for methamphetamine addiction. Possible risks and benefits will be discussed before agreeing to participate. Research visits will be conducted at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston - Center for Neurobehavioral Research on Addiction located in the Texas Medical Center.

- receive 12 weeks of medication
- be compensated for study activities
