Last night, a a friend and I purchased a gram of cocaine. I had tried cocaine only once before, about a year ago, and the experience was unreal. I cannot say the same about last night, however.

The first time I tried cocaine I was pretty drunk, but not completely inebriated. An acquaintance at a party offered me a key bump, I leaned over and shotgunned the whole thing into my nasal cavity. Immediately after I went to go take a piss and while I was peeing, it hit me. I had never felt anything like it before. There was a tremendous rush of euphoria coupled with a multitude of pleasant effects. I went outside to smoke a cigarette; I felt on top of the world.

Last night was a completely different experience. I took my first bump, expecting unparalleled greatness, only to feel antsy and anxious. It took about 5 minutes to reach full effects (if you can call it that) and produced no euphoria at all. I decided to up the dose and take a small line. Unfortunately this didn't do much for me either. I still felt antsy, only this time it made me feel a LITTLE better. The drip numbed my throat extensively, way more then the first time. I decided to take one more line, this one larger, in attempts to obtain the feeling I was searching for. Surprisingly it actually had me feeling kinda good, but no where near what I was expecting. I was still antsy, anxious and the euphoria was minimal.

We got the coke through a friend of ours who shoots it up daily. We gave him a little for his troubles, and when he dissolved it in a spoon full of water, it dissolved nicely and left little behind. He said it was pretty pure compared to the stuff he usually gets.

The first time I did coke it was a complete body and mind takeover, kind of like rolling. I felt like superman, only stronger and better looking. This time I felt like Tweak from Southpark.

The friend I was with, who has much more experience with cocaine than I, said this was a pretty typical experience. "It's never worth the money", he said.

Why was my first time so awesome? Why was this time so not? Why did it take seconds to kick in before and last night it took 5 - 10 minutes? Most importantly; What the fuck?

  • The coke was more cut this time
  • Just because it dissolved nicely in the spoon doesn't mean anything

It is the QUALITY OF THE COKE that is the issue here. Drunk or not has nothing to do with it.

The cocaine going around these days is not worth shit. Period. It is screwed with too much to maximize profits.
 
hmm it kind of sounds like ur first time wasnt really cocaine.
i can get really nice and good quality coke here in LA, and honestly, all it does is make me more alert, jittery, pumped, and sweaty palms. with a very slight euphoria.
which sounds like ur 2nd time using.
ur first time sounds more like ice or speed. how it took 10~15 minutes to rise, and ur description is just like amp/meth

but i can be wrong, im just giving out some thoughts
 
It was because u did it with alcohol the first time. Drunk + a line gives me 100x the euphoria I'd get while sOber and did that same line. I guarantee that's the problem, next time have 4. Beers before u do any and Ull see how much better it is

No way he said it took a few mins not 10 and if anything I think speed wud make u feel more jittery and IMO gives much less euphoria. It was because the first time he did cocaethlyene , not cocaine!
 
Coke to me was always one of those drugs that sounded like an amazing idea, then after a night of doing it i felt like I had been ripped off by the dealer and dumb because i never achieved the "high-ness" i wanted (always chasing the first time) and now i couldn't sleep it off... dont waste your time, I have rarely felt like it was a good investment

Yeah more like 30 seconds to a minute my first time, which is apparently unusual for cocaine. What is cocaethylene?

My first experience was exactly what I expected coke to be like. It matched everything anyone had ever said it to be. I was superman, able to do anything I wanted; invincible. I felt too incredible for words. It lasted about 30 minutes and then I was absolutely feigning. I took another bump and was back on top of the world, only to come down even harder. The rest of the night I was searching for more. I don't really remember there being any numbing from the drip, certainly not like the other night... is this any indication?

The most recent time the effects peaked at 5 - 10 minutes, and when it was over I had little desire to re-dose. This is very confusing because people always describe cocaine like my first experience, but now everyone is saying my description does NOT sound like coke and that my second time is a better representation.

If what I took my first time wasn't coke, and what I took the other night was, anyone who likes cocaine/becomes addicted has never tried another drug. That is the only explanation I can think of.

Ppl say insufflation takes 2-5 mins or w.e to kick in but that's bullshit I feel a line immediately after I do it . Cocaethlyene is when u do coke after uve consumed alcohol the two are metabolized into a new drug in ur liver called cocaethlyene . It's gotta a longer half life and produces more euphoria, but it's a bit more cardio toxic that's y u take it easy on the yay when drinking . But I've never had anything bad happen to me yet other than anxiety after and I only do coke when drinking
 
yeah, just because the cocaine dissolved almost completely in the spoon does not mean that it is more "pure", it just means the cut is water soluble. I used to think the same thing, when I first started IV coke, because all the street junky's would say "oh man, with good coke, you don't need to use a cotton". This is definately not true, some of the better coke I've had has left a lot of residue in the spoon (of course that doesn't mean it was GREAT coke, just that how it dissolves is not in and by itself proof of a pure product).

And Pbuilder, that was really interesting, I had no idea about cocaethylene.
 
I'm surprised you've never heard of it. I swear if I hadnt done coke while wasted my first time I wouldn't be so addicted but the memory of that euphoria is what keeps me coming back, but I don't do it sober cuz to me it's a waste unless u wanna be doing waaayyy fatter lines
 
While I was very antsy and anxious, the high was mellow, if that makes any sense. My heart rate was fast, but not beating out of my chest. I was actually pretty tired while on it at times, especially when coming down. This is one of the main reasons my friend, who is experienced with coke, and myself think it was pretty pure coke. He said when it's cut with amphetamines and other speedy shit, you get super jittery and your heart beats really really fast. We did not experience this with this particular blow.

Which leads me to an obvious question; Why do people use cocaine? It was, at least this last time, the least satisfying of the stims I have tried. Adderal, D-amphetamine, MDMA, Methylone, Mephedrone... fucking caffeine. All of those produced MUCH more euphoria (with the exception of the latter) and with much less trouble, not to mention much cheaper. Unless you drink Starbucks.
 
If it's of any consideration, every time I use cocaine I get very introverted and everything irritates me immensely. I get like this until the whole 'high' and comedown (which is more of the same) wears off. I basically feel like I've had a pissed off cup of coffee. This is no doubt entirely down to the low quality of the cocaine I get. The strange thing is everyone around me enjoys the experience.

I wouldn't ever choose to use cocaine. It's just that sometimes cocaine is all you've got.
 
I got the same way during my comedown, which I would also describe as being somewhat synonymous to the high. The only difference is during the high I was more talkative, yet irritable, and during the comedown I didn't want to talk to anyone and felt that everything was pointless.

Odd that cocaine would ever be "all you got". For me, if I can get cocaine, I can almost definitely get a lot of other things. I have to go looking, it never comes to me.
 
Cocaine just happens to be one of the only street drugs I can reliably score whenever I want. I wish this weren't the case though, since it's so expensive and so shite.
 
I'm really sorry to hear about the crapcaine floating around these days. Back in my party days (70's and early 80's, yeah I'm an old man) we used to get pretty nice stuff and there was no doubt what you were snorting. I think someone mentioned meth and for my money, that's what it sounds like he got either the first or second time, not sure. You definitely should get a nice rush and that "top of the world" feeling, followed by "gimme some more, now! It's rarely worth the money looking back at it but it is fun while it lasts!
 
Cali is really the only place to get good drugs now-a-days. You can find them else where, but the ratio is preferable in California.

I don't understand why people keep suggesting meth. I was not high for hours, I was high for minutes. An acquaintance of mine told me about the first time he did coke, only it wasn't coke, it was meth. He was 14 (very young I know) and took what he thought was coke from his brothers room. He had done his research and was fully prepared to take on the high he thought was to follow. He was high for hours and did not sleep the whole night.
 
reitterating what everyone else has basically said, cocaine, particularly these days, cannot be compared in order to wrap you mind round your experience.

you could have had some pretty pure stuff the one time, possibly smelling of diesel. other times coke can be greedily cut with godknowswhat...and recently it seems to be extensively cut with levamisole even before it crosses the border. once in your country, who knowwss, could be inisitol poweder (inert b vitamin, so a "clean " cut, could be creatine, could be baby laxitive with a dash of lidocaine to fool you with numbness/quality correlation. hope this has helped.

unless im getting an honest reliable cocaine source, i prefer amphetamine salts personally.
